The next week flew by. It had been jam-packed with organising everything for the new house. From picking paint samples to kitchen units. Aurora had even made me select some basic elements of furniture so it would be liveable as soon as I returned from England. It wouldn’t be ordered straight away, but Aurora would know what to order when the time was right. There wouldn’t be any road access in time either, so when I returned, I would have to pack light. Nothing bigger than a pickup would make it through. I had spoken to Emily about the move, and she had taken it well.
