Stephen's p.o.v
I walked into the passage while trying to relax and calm myself. Black was right ahead waiting for me.
"Let's get this over with." I said softly.
I was about to walk past him when he grabbed my veil and pulled it off.
I turned and faced him in anger.
"You don't need to hide your eyes from everyone prince Stephen. The people need to accept the real you and pledge their loyalty as well. It's time for them to learn that your eyes are not a curse but a blessing." He said seriously as the anger I felt slowly subsided.
He was right. Me hiding a part of me wasn't the best option if I was to rule over the whole land. The people needed to see me for who I really was.
