Lucien's POV I was in the basement breaker room with Arthur, trying to figure out why the mansion's power grid had fried itself. The air was thick with the smell of old concrete, my flashlight cutting a sharp circle across the wall of electrical panels. Arthur stood beside me, jacket discarded on the workbench, adjusting his glasses as he inspected the wiring.
