Chapter 2 Ranya’s POV

I don’t know how but i managed to get the 4 large coffee machines set and ready to go for those who loved their morning coffee, had put all the really disgusting pots, pans and plates in the deep butler sink to soak in the boiling hot water, put the rest of the plates next the sink, wiped all the side counters down, put all the half eaten food and empty containers in the bin and then wiped the island down,

i truely do forget how big this kitchen is you could fit a small cafe in it, the walls were a mixture of white and grey tiles, white pine wood flooring, all the cupboards on the walls where a dark mahogany and so were the bottom cupboards with cream coloured marble counter tops, the island was made from a pink and white granite with a grey coloured marble counter top, above the island where 3 large heat lamps, a top of the range chefs cooker, 2 large fridge freezers, a walk in pantry and a few decoration.

I started to make gagging sound as the smell freshly brewed coffee enters my nose, i look at the kitchen clock “s**t” it was 6:20 i need to get a move on thank god the training grounds and gym was a 5 minute jog from the pack house.

As i made my way over there i started thinking about the gathering tomorrow night all the allied alphas would be coming with their sons or next successor, they would be either arriving tonight or tomorrow morning, not only them but the 3rd Prince Kaiden Ross would be attending and he would be turning up just before dinner with his beta and 3 of his best warriors.

As i entered the main doors to the gym i had the sense of danger, put my hand infront of my face and in that second a small medicine ball hit my hand with fall force, “damn girl how long were gunna make me wait i was starting to get bored” shouted Lacey standing over by the weights with her hands on hips giving me attitude,

“Moongoddess Lacey damn that hurt i know i’m late but was that really necessary” “no but you needed to learn a lesson” “and that lesson being” “that i your best friend should not be left waiting longer than 5 minutes” she huffed, “she’s lucky that we love her like a sister and know that she’s playing around or i would have to takeover and teach our dear lacey a lesson” feeling Artemis smirking in my mind, i just rolled my eyes “i pray that moongoddess pairs you with a mate that can handle your feistiness Lace.”

Lacey was about 5’6, average tone build with curves(not to skinny or has a belly), beautiful smokey grey blue eyes, liked both men and women, her hair was a dirty blonde colour and cut into a nice shoulder length bob which she could tie into a half pony tail.

“Well i just hope the day the moongoddess reveals my mate you know i won’t be picky, if it is a guy i just hope that they’re not going to be controlling or judgemental and if it’s a woman I pray that they’re not too clingy, too girly or has a pitchy voice” she huffed as i walked over to her by the weights giggling “come on it’s 6:40 i’ve only got 15 minutes to get stuff done before i have to get ready for my last exam” i sighed grabbing some weights, “i’m so glad i’m out of school now, ever since the human govement approved that kids have to stay in education till they were 18 and our world agreed to do the same thing” groaned Lacey “I still can’t wrap my head round how you were able be top of your classes, skipped a year, still hated school but still wants to get into the best medical programm make that make sense” i laughed as i did my last rep.

“Aarrrr enough talk can we just get to the punching and kicking now please” Lacey groaned in frustation i couldn’t help but laugh.
