Chapter 14 Kaiden’s POV

Once I had finally gotten changed after admiring the bathroom there was the usual toilet, sink, cupboards fully stocked but it was the bath and shower area on the longest part of the wall there was a large rainfall shower but it was the bath that caught my attention at first it was a small pool instead it was a walk in bathtub jacuzzi and around the side on the wall where you could either stand or sit on lets say I couldn’t wait to try it out later.

While Noah and I made our way to the training field Orion was non-stop jumping around my head and it was starting to get annoying, yes we were going to see our mate again but I was feeling anxious about it and Orion is helping “hurry up stupid Prince want to see mate” thank god the training grounds were only a 10 minute walk away from the packhouse, as we got closer I saw another man who must be his Beta talking to Ryan about something maybe he was letting him know about the incident earlier as we caught Ryan sigh out his response to the conversation “when is Michael going to learn, that is one reason why I won’t make him my Gamma” raking his hand through his hair through in frustration, “afternoon Alpha Ryan I hope everything is ok you look a bit concerned” trying to not making sound like I was just eavesdropping, he let out another sigh “oh there was a little incident with my sister and one of the male warriors it’s not that unusal around here someone always wants to challenge her but only a few have the bulls to actually do it” he said with a chuckle, the wind blew in our direction thats when I smelled it again her scent it was so refreshing, looking in the direction of her scent I saw her instructing her group on how to shoot and to wear a bow while carrying firearms she set her bow and arrow took a stance that was strong that not even the wind could blow her over, she closed her eyes and breathed in deeply as she pulled back the arrow holding it for moment, then in a flash she opened her eyes and let loose the arrow it soared through the air and hit the middle of the target so quick that you would miss it even with trained eyes, the way the wind wrapped around her and sun hitting her frame made look even more beautiful Orion was howling excitedly in my head urging me to go talk to her, the four of us started to walk over Ryan called to his sister as she was placing the bow back around herself securely “hey Rayna come here a minute there is someone I want you to meet” the moment looked towards our direction our eyes met and for just moment there was silence but that moment was shattered when I saw worry and fear crept into her eyes I started to panic inside I went to react out to stop her but she had quickly bolted towards the forest, I felt a pang of hurt go across my chest as I watched her get further and further away from me “RANYA COME BACK HERE RAYNA” shouted Ryan but it was too late she was gone “what’s gotten into her Peta is Lacey over in that direction still could you link her to check on Rayna” “sure thing Ry” both Noah and Ryan looked at me but it was Noah who snapped me out it by placing a hand on my shoulder “my Prince is everything ok you look heartbroken” “hmmm what umm yeah i’m ok just a but shocked that a female ran from me” Ryan walked a bit closer to me apologising for his sisters conduct. The guy called peta came back over after he had finished linking his sister Lacey I think Ryan said “Lacey says she has her she’s in the middle of having a panic attack at the moment, she’s doing her best to calm Rayna down and she’ll link you when Rayna’s ready to meet the Prince” I started worry even more after hearing that and Orion wasn’t helping “go after her stupid go help mate” “No Orion we need to give her some space to think, I know you’re worried I am too but we have to wait” he huffed in annoyance but I think he got my point, “I’m so sorry I never introduced you and Peta he is my Beta and he has a younger sister called Lacey who is Raynas partner in crime” said Ryan trying to distract me from the situation as I shook Petas hand, “Peta why don’t teach us how to use firearms properly or archery while things cool down” said Noah I smiled at him then looked at Peta “if you don’t mind i’m interested in learning new things” “of course but I won’t make the warm up easy for you” he said with a mischievous smirk on his face Noah and Ryan both laughed at his remark I really hope I don’t regret this.

Rayna’s POV-

‘s**t s**t s**t s**t SsssHIT what did I do what did I do what the f**k did I just do,’ my thoughts were going a million miles on what just happened I ducted behind a tree trying to calm my breathing but it wasn’t working “Rayna where are you Peta said ran from the Prince” Lacey linked me putting my hands through my hair and trying to hide my face, I tried to link her back but I couldn’t words come out clear “I don’t ……… know …….I don’t … Lacey help ………me” “alright i’ll be there in a second don’t move” a few moments before lacey found me when dawned on me what happened sending me into a bigger panic “oh my goddess Artemis I just ran away from Prince Kaiden and he’s our Mate”
