Chapter 15 Rayna’s POV

“Oh my goddess Artemis he’s our mate, how is Prince Kaiden our mate” “you need to calm down Rayna yes it is a shock but we have to trust the moon goddess, listen I can sense Lacey she’s close I promise you Rayna everything will be alright” after hearing Artemis trying to console me till I could see Lacey running towards me and I guess she could see the state that I was in as she started to strip her clothes and shift into her wolf Cherri, her wolfs fur was a reddish brown colour, deep green eyes and black tipped ears, she rushed over to me and placed her whole body on me doing deep pressure therapy just like a service animal would do, others have always looked down at Lacey for doing this but she had always told me that Cherri wanted and needed to do it, Cherri started to purr a relaxing tune while Lacey linked asking me to try and match their breathing and once i’m ready to tell them what happened, after what felt like 5 minutes I started to calm down and found the strength to them both what had happened while Artemis was telling Cherri how was feeling so that she knew when she could get off me, after another 5 minutes Cherri got off me and went behind a tree so that Lacey could change into her clothes, once dressed Lacey ran from behind the tree giving me a huge hug with all her might whispering to me incase someone was listening “I can’t believe Prince Kaiden is your mate what are going to do, are you going to tell him who you really are” “I need to talk to him but I also need to talk to Ryan about it and no he will have to earn my trust or find certain things out on his own, could you mind link Ryan and ask him to get the Prince to come here and that i’m fine please” she nodded letting me know she would. After a few minutes she told me the Prince was on his way and that he’ll follow your scent, before she left to go back to her group she gave me a pep talk to show him i’m not like other Alphas daughters giving my arm a nudge, at her last words I snapped out of my worry “time to meet our mate Artemis”

Kaiden’s POV -

When Peta said he wasn’t going to make the warm up easy I didn’t believe him both Noah and I did 5 laps, 10 squats, another 5 laps, 5 normal push ups, 5 one arm push ups on each side and 10 lunges on each leg, Zak, Mia and Brock soon cane and joined in, I did find it odd that we were made to do a warm up when we weren’t doing combat training but when we saw how they did firearms training it made sense there wasn’t standing targets but moving ones and after awhile everyone were to be put into groups to go ip against a different group in the forest using paintball guns, just as I was ready to go off with my group after having a go at the targets and lets just say Zak, Brock and I needed more practise, Noah and Mia didn’t do too bad, I will have a talk with Noah and my Gamma Miles on starting this type of training it’ll be good for those who have trouble shifting. Ryan pulled me to one side with concern on his face “I just got a mind link from Petas sister Lacey, Rayna has calmed down and she wants you meet her where she is at the moment that you should just follow her scent” I gave him a bit of a sheepish look at his last words “apparently she’ll also explain everything to me later but is there anything you want to tell” Ryan continued with a glare of ‘hurt my sister and they’ll be trouble’ regardless of me being a prince this was my mates brother and I could understand why he was being rhe older protective brother as he should be “i’m sorry Alpha Ryan i’m not quite sure myself maybe she’ll explain things to you later” I don’t like lieing but i’m not a 100% myself and it’s not my place at the moment to tell him till i’m sure things will be ok but I had feeling he knew I wasn’t telling him thw whole truth. Three large white suv’s then drove passed us and I heard Ryan let out an annoyed groan “Peta could you link Ms Harper that Alpha Ethan and his sons are here please and that you’ll be with them soon” he gave Ryan a thumbs up heading to the indoor training area for a shower, Ryan then told me to follow Ranyas scent which was heading to the South East and to take few paintball guns with refills and told me good luck and to use the trees for protection if needed, which got me curious “no time to think about that stupid human go see mate need too see her” “alright Orion stop you’re giving me a headache” I quickly linked my guys on where I was going and to not follow me they weren’t happy about it but agreed, I ran towards the tree line I took in a huge inhale of her scent so I could find her but also to calm my heart. I must of been following scent for at least 5 minutes and got the feeling that she had a little from her original spot because I came to a big fern tree where her scent was the strongest and mixed with another scent which must of been her friend, then it started to go a little further foward then it stopped, “she couldn’t of just vanished right” I asked Orion “you better open your senses bit more and pay attention to detail of your surroundings” annoying wolf just for be help with no puzzles, I closed my eyes, steadied my breathing and listened, I quickly leaped to my left behind a tree after hearing a fast whistling sound coming from up high in the trees, I peaked around the I was hidden behind to see an arrow in the ground where I was standing just a second ago, I then looked in the direction it possibly came from being careful incase another one came my way even with my gun at the ready I was still uneasy and there she was my silver haired beauty now standing with confidence on a high tree branch not feeling an ounce of panic, “ok you got me I just hear to talk to understand happened” I said walking out from behind my hiding spot with my hands in the air, she lowered her bow then jumped from the branch that she was stand it was rather high too high for my liking, I rushed to go and catch her but she had gracefully landed sadly I couldn’t stop myself and crashed into her luckly I managed to curve my body under her so that she would land on my chest. What a great first or would it be second impression of me by sweeping her off her feet by literally crashing into her, I grabbed my head as it started to throb looking up at the same tree she jumped from I ended up hitting my head at the base of the trunk, I slowly sat up “i’m so sorry I didn’t mean too my protective instinct kicked in are you hurt anywhere” “it’s ok and i’m fine thank you” she replied looking up at me and we’re both lost in each others eyes.
