Chapter 17- Rayna’s POV

I was feeling relaxed while we talked getting to know each other a small wall starting to slowly crumble while watching the kindness in his eyes “it’s more than just kindness in his eyes he already loves us and so does his wolf” Artemis purred in my mind “Artemis I don’t know it could just be the mate bond making him feel that way it’s too soon for him feel real love for us” trying to not let my insecurities show on my face “that’s enough Rayna you need to give him and our selves a chance and I promise you it’s not the mate bond making me say that, when have I ever been wrong about a person” that was true they have been plenty of times that I should of listened to her but I didn’t and got hurt so this time i’m going to listen and trust what the moongoddess has planned for us.

As I looked into his stormy grey eyes I could tell he wanted to ask me some different personal questions which in all honesty I wasn’t sure on how or even if I could answer the questions that were teetering on the edge of his lips as my father and brother had forbid from doing so for safety, I inwardly sighed I would need to talk to Ryan about this so that he and father could talk later. Just as he was about to say something my eyes clouded over and “Rayna we need you at the hospital now” hearing panic and anger in Laceys voice “what’s happened” “all I can say is Alpha Ethans men are assholes not letting anyone near his son Eli ‘s**t’ one of them just threw poor Ginny against the wall please get here quick” cutting the link I saw the fear on Prince Kaidens face my murder face must be on I stood up quickly and so did he, I looked up at him with anger in my voice “we need to get to the hospital now” a serious look replaced the fear on his face and nodded as I was about to run there he grabbed my wrist making stopped I was about to yell at him but he spoke before I could “let me shift it’ll be quicker and you can ride on my back” I was stunned that he would suggest such a thing but before I could protest he had shifted into a huge black wolf he must of been a foot taller than Artemis, his two front paws were white, he had a white tipped tail and his eyes were a beautiful gold colour, his wolf nuzzled me then nudged me to get on his back making me giggle, his fur was so soft to the touch but I couldn’t really admire his wolf as once he knew I was safely on he took off like lightning, the way his wolf weaved in out of the trees with ease was amazing and having the wind blow through my hair and on my skin felt so good, I quickly mind linked Lacey “Lace I need you out front with some men clothes now we’ll be at the hospital in 3 minutes” “ok but why just mens clothes” curiosity in her voice “oh you’ll see and pick your jaw up when you do” I giggled cutting the mind link.

When we made it to the hospital Lacey was waiting out front and as predicted her mouth on the floor trying hard not to laugh at her, I slid off Kaidens wolfs back and gave him a scratch behind the ear as a thank you, I was about to say something to Lacey but I suddenly heard shouting and things being thrown around, Kaidens wolf nudged me forward and taking the clothes from Lacey into his mouth indicating that we should go in first I ran inside with Lacey right beside me, as we got closer to Eli’s room I had asked her if she had let Ryan know of whats happening she told me yes and I could do whatever I deemed necessay while he distracted Alpha Ethan and his other son Randall that put an evil smile on my face. As we rounded the last corner to where Eli’s room was and the pure anger that came over me when I saw the c*****e chairs broken, some of my best doctors and nurses laying hurt or unconcious on the floor, Reece and a unknown boy standing over Ginnys limp body, an unknown female had one of the huge idiots in a head lock while a second i***t still stood firm infront of Eli’s door and the last i***t had poor Lenny Ginnys mate pinned against the wall by his throat, I saw red and Artemis came to the front but not taking full control “ENOUGH” I growled out letting a quarter of my aura fill the hallway, everyone stopped those of my pack showed their necks, the two I didn’t know also showed their necks and Alpha Ethans three idoits tried their best to resist, the one who had Lenny pinned let him fall to the floor, I pulled my aura back and went over to Ginny kneeling down to check on how she was doing she was in a daze but was able to sit up, I looked over at Reece and I could see he had angry tears threating to spill out I place a hand on his shoulder “Reece I need you to try and keep calm for Ginnys sake ok” he looked at me and nodded while rubbing the tears away “you and Lenny take Ginny up to her office, have her lay down on the sofa and ask one the other doctors to get some test done just make sure no inner damage is done” he nodded then looked over at Lenny who had collected himself and rushed over scooping up his mate into his arms plus pulled Reece into a hug for comfort then left for the office. “Lacey can you ask your dad and Gamma Edwards to come over with some muscle to come help with this mess please and to escort these three morons off the pack lands and have there photo’s plus finger prints put on the permanent ban list” she agreed then strode away to a safe distance, after the three idiots heard what I said they became anger coming over shouting “you f*****g slut you can’t do that you are just a b***h with no authority over us” in an attempt to intimidate me but before they could get in my face the unknown boy and woman stood inbetween us ready for another fight, the boy who looked not much older than me maybe about nineteen could probably take out the smaller one out of the idiots as it must of been his first time being out on the field it was just feeling I got, where as the woman who had to be about twenty one twenty two definitely had more experience could take out the other two. I placed a hand on there shoulder and gave them a look of it’s fine, they both stood to the but still close just incase I stepped looking up all three morons in the face not breaking eye contact they were all taller than me between 5’9 and 6ft, muscular and a face only a mother could love. “What you think about teaching this b***h a lesson and maybe have somefun” said the large moron to my right “I don’t normally go for fat girls but at least she has a pretty face it’d be a shame to mess it up” said the smaller moron, the third moron grabbed me around my upper arm then we all heard the biggest growl that shattered the walls they looked to the left but I knew who it was, thank you Kaiden for distracting them as I flipped the third moron over my shoulder.
