Chapter 11 Rayna’s POV

As I clicked send to my dad and waited for a response I quickly texted Ryan ‘Hey Ry we have a possible situation that could cause trouble for tomorrow and it involves Amanda too’ he instantly messaged me back ‘f**k sake that girl is causing more stress than the actual planning grrrrrr come to the office once you get back’ ‘will do see you later’ I started the car and made my way home it always felt quicker going home after school and way at the portal entrance in now time. After looking around making sure no one was about I made through the portal, I waved at Nettle and Silky asking them if they’ll be ok till Monday after leaving them gift tomorrow, they both said it’ll be fine and to careful because my stepmother had been to pick Amanda up, I rolled my eyes gave them my thanks on letting me know and made my way back down the path to the house as I pulled my phone started ring seeing it was dad I picked up straight away “perfect timing dad I literally just got home” hearing him chuckle a bit “well by the way you said that means something has come up” “well i hope your not driving and you’re instead sitting somewhere else private” “i’m just walking into my office now I landed back while you had your exam” “ok let me just go see Ms Harper” I gave my keys to a guard and walked over to the kitchen, the omegas were busy getting everything ready for lunch I couldn’t see Ms Harper but one of the younger girls Anya came over to me “Ms Harper just popped for moment Ms Rayna is there anything you need” “oh thank you Anya if its not too much trouble could some make a small snack and a drink for Ryan and I please we’ll be in his office” Anya gave me a big smile, said she would prepare and bring it up herself then bowed her head. I turned and walked over to the office with dad still on the phone “so dad hows mum” he must of been drinking something because he started chocking, when he says he has business in Ireland I know he’s gone to meet his fated mate my mother which can be a little complicated, “she’s fine sweetheart, she sends her love and she prays that you both get to meet soon,” I knocked on the door letting Ryan know I was there, I didn’t hear anything so I just let myself and heard the shower on in the bathroom adjacent to his office I gave him a quick mind link before we both got traumatised “I hope you’ve got some clean clothes in there and I have dad on the phone on speaker too” quickly cutting off the link before he gave me headache with his shouting. The Alpha’s office had a rustic look to it (picture old time cowboy bar) dark wooden flooring and walls, with forest green large rug and curtains, the layout of his furniture and bookcase was a mirror image to the luna’s office but the hidden door to the safe room and tunnel to an exit is in the bathroom behind the shower where you have to pull down the shower head for it to open, I went behind the bar and got two drinks ready one lemonade for me the other whisky on the rocks for which I know he’ll need after this little chat “dad I better pre warn you Amanda has been causing more problems than the last time you went away but i’ll explain more once Ryan is finished” all I heard was a frustrating sigh come from the phone as I walked over towards the desk, set my phone and the drinks down as Ryan came out you could see the stress was slowly getting to him, he drank his whiskey in one gulp while slumping into he chair with a grown “wow son you’re starting to sound like me already” “haha you think you’re funny old man after the morning i’ve had I feel like I need a week off” I tried to stifle a giggle but Ryan gave me a warning look of ‘you’re not helping’ giving him a cheeky smirk as he went to his bar to get another drink “well I better give some you some good news before the bad then” “and what you that be then sweetheart” dad asked “a certain someone will be coming back home on sunday” having a quick glance towards the bar “someone that goes by the name of Ashlyn” all you heard then was choking and spluttering “thats great news hear our Luna will is coming no offence sweetheart you have done a brilliant job but it is time for the packs rightful lu… RYAN WILL YOU DIE QUIETLY” “SHUT ……UP ……OLD Man” replied Ryan inbetween breaths while I had tears of laughter in my eyes and right on awkward queue there was a knock on door, as I opened it trying to keep my composure I saw it was surprised to see Ms Harper “oh I was expecting you back Ms Harper did get what you needed done” “yes thank you Ms Rayna I had a message from Beta Noah that he and Prince Kaiden would get here for about 12:30-1 o’Clock now so thought it best to get a few extra things” I took the tray gave her my thanks and would let her know of any other messges she’d need. As we ate our lunch we explained to dad on what Amanda had done including what Melody had mentioned at school about Bryce and what the Nymphs had told me, even though see dads expression we could feel his anger coming through the phone letting us know he would handle Amanda and her mother giving Ryan the responsibilty letting a patrol know about Bryce, we then went on who would be the Gamma which was between Ivy and another warrior Michael he had promise but he didn’t have what it takes to be a loyal Gamma, most packs wouldn’t dream of having a female as Beta or Gamma for we were seen as weak which showed how out of date they are and if they were to find their fated mate they would have to leave if their other half wouldn’t agree to stay in the females pack, I reassured them both that Ivy wouldn’t be leaving and Michael had a different path to take, I saw the worried look in Ryans eyes “brother when has my sixth sense been wrong” “never but” “then but nothing trust me on this one, dad have you heard from Alpha Gregory on when he and his sons will be arriving” “yes sweetheart but it’s going to be really early in the morning about 3am” “well I better have an early night then” “no Rayna thats too much to ask of you” “it’s fine dad I can give them their greetings then show them to their rooms, then I can get a bit of training in before Lacey and Ivy drag me to get pampered plus its just junior training in tomorrow morning as everyone will be busy” I think they about to say something but I wasn’t finished “look I think you two will be too exhausted after having to deal with the huge headaches you’ll get later” both of them sighed as they knew I was correct “ok you two i’ll be back about dinner time so you better get to work and training see later” we said bye to dad and as I ended the call I looked up at Ryan “so what are you going to do about Ashlyn” he let out a huge sigh and looked out the window “I’ll figure something out later and tomorrow with dad and Caroline later and i’ll let you know” I could see he was scared incase he was rejected I grabbed his hands and made him stand giving letting know it’ll be ok, as I left the office it was 12o’Clock I mind linked lacey letting her know i’ll be out in 10 minutes and to get everyone ready for training.
