Minutes earlier...
I was sitting next to my brother Liam, discussing a new venture I wanted to acquire abroad to further expand our business. However, he seemed distracted, he was constantly looking down the hallway where Megan went some time ago, when she said she needed to use the restroom. He has really become careless; even in such an important matter, I can't get his attention.
“Liam, you need to pay attention to what I'm saying.” I said, sounding impatient, as I hate being ignored when I'm talking about something so important.
“Megan is taking too long.” He said, obviously stating what was on his mind.
I sighed, shaking my head in disbelief that that was all he had to say.
