Yala’s POV
I froze when I found a huge dog on top of me. He looked at me intensely with his big eyes, his tongue hanging out. I closed my eyes again, thinking he would bite me, but when his tongue touched my cheek, he started licking me playfully. I had no idea where this animal came from, and I was left bewildered.
"Onyx, have you lost your mind? Get off us now!" Charles exclaimed irritably.
"Woof, woof," the dog barked at him but reluctantly got off.
"My God! Where did this dog come from?" I asked, recovering from the shock.
I stood up slowly, and Charles did the same. The dog started wagging his tail and placed his paws on me again, making me laugh because he didn’t seem like he was going to attack me.
