The long awaited fall fiesta was finally here.
I wondered whether I should go or not. I went with Blair and Bree last year. Back then, I'd never imagined I'd be walking into this year's fiesta without them.
I'd be all alone.
Well, that's what I thought until Wayne showed up at my door wearing a flannel that made him look like he'd stepped out of some autumn catalog.
He flashed that easy grin at me.
"So, are you going to the fiesta or what?"
"I was planning to but..." I trailed off. I wasn't expecting him. After that confrontation at the rink, we hadn't seen or talked much.
A smile spread across my face. "Just give me a few minutes to get ready."
