Chapter 11: December 31st–January 1st
“Okay, so is this a new thing now? You’ll just be shirtless from now on?” Michelle laughs. Yes, yes, we will be. Because shirtless is awesome. What else is awesome? Kissing. Waking up really late on top of my boyfriend. Taking showers together. Eating breakfast together. Watching Game of Thrones together, to compare notes and opinions, even though we’ve both seen the whole series before, like, twice. Going to bookstores together to stare at books we can’t afford to buy. Lending books to each other. The Witcher. Wrestling. Kissing until we get breathless. Playing with his hair. Falling in love with his accent. And now, as I am grinning at my sister over Skype, having him lean forward on his elbows next to me, to smile at her, too.
