IT WAS ALMOST ANTI-climactic. The next few days passed with nothing unusual happening except for everybody being nervous and walking on eggshells. Somehow Jenny had found out about Morgan"s would-be attacker. It didn"t take long before Kathy showed up at Morgan"s house, backpack in hand, ready to stay with her new friend until it was over. When Morgan protested, Kathy merely said she didn"t feel comfortable staying by herself while Jenny was out working.
