–––––––– MORGAN COULD HEAR THE voices as Jenny and Gabe left the office and headed to the front door. She made no effort to go downstairs to say goodbye to Jenny, sure her friend would understand. When Morgan left the office, she had sought her natural place of solace, the library. The library offered safety for her and a feeling of contentment. And right now, she didn"t feel very safe or content. Someone had invaded her home and done damage to her aunt"s belongings. She was past the anger and was beginning to understand that she was in danger. For some reason, someone wanted her off Pearl Island.
