Something was wrong. Jim had known that from the moment he"d read Rosie"s message. They"d been getting along so well that it made no sense for her to cancel on him. Unless she was still worrying about the enchantment she might have cast on him.
He jumped up.
He knew where she was likely to be. She"d done this for all the wrong reasons, but that didn"t mean she wouldn"t be upset. And if she was, then she"d have sought out the sea.
He rushed out of the door, barely remembering to grab a coat as he left. While it wasn"t the depths of winter yet, there would still be a chilly breeze coming in from the sea, and he didn"t want to expend any of his stored up energy on keeping warm, it would be a waste.
