NARRATIVE POV The barbecue was crinkling with the grease from the burgers on the grill. The smell of cooking meat filled the air, intertwined with the shared laughter and past glory stories. Just as expected, Jackson was shy at first meeting Parker and Delilah, but the trio quickly got over the awkward introductions and ran around the backyard laughing and playing tag.
