There was a soft humming, calling out for me to open my eyes. Despite how gentle it was, it was impossible to ignore. The melody stimulated the senses in my body, sparking me to life. I felt it, like a curfew flowing through me.
The light was blinding, and I had to raise my hand to shield my eyes. It was an unnaturally bright light before me, but it also had a calming tranquillity. You wanted to follow further into its brilliance.
So that is what I did.
The soft, angelic humming continued to fill my senses, and I found myself smiling and humming along with it. I wanted to see the source of this euphoric pull.
