Frankie got up the following morning and packed a duffle bag of her clothes, important documents, and paperwork. She had some savings in her bank account that she would withdraw on her way out of town, but first, she needed to prepare for the hard talk with Oliver.
That was the terrifying part for her in all of this. What would Oliver say? They had always been close, but over the last few years, he pulled away, making it clear that he wanted nothing more to do with her. Frankie presumed that he was only kind to her for Aria’s sake. After Aria went off for pack medical school, he cut Frankie off cold turkey. It was challenging at first, but after a while, it became natural to ignore each other.
