What the heck? Tung was speechless. How does he know about both Hoàng Cảnh Du and Hứa Ngụy Châu? Is he serious or just messing around? How could the clothes that he struggled so hard to get be "fake"?
"Shut up! Did you see the "authentic" label with your own eyes or are you just talking nonsense? Take it off now!"
As Tung spoke, he pointed the toilet plunger at the handsome guy's face. He didn't bother to explain that the "authentic" clothes had been in Duy's wardrobe - Duy, the ex-wife of the handsome guy, for many years. The man calmly brushed the plunger away from his face and went to pour himself a drink.
Tung still held onto the plunger, watching in bewilderment at the man's casual behavior. Where did he come from? How did he sneak into Tung's room? Did he climb over the wall? And why is he only wearing a pair of boxers? Oh, right, he's a weirdo!
Tú - the handsome guy - was tilting his head back to drink. His Adam's apple moved up and down in a rhythmic way. A few drops accidentally dripped down his chin and onto the white coat.
Drip, drip!
Tung suddenly froze, silently staring at the weird man in front of him.
Drip, drip!
Tú wiped the corner of his mouth and glanced at Tùng who was looking up at him. Tùng started and looked away, gripping the toilet plunger tightly as he turned back.
People always have those very normal moments that leave the other person bewildered and infatuated.
Tùng often felt lost when he was alone. But the man in front of him made him feel partly scared because he was a stranger, yet at the same time, he felt very safe. What is this mixed feeling, I wonder...
"Is there anything else to eat? A bowl of noodles is not enough!"
Tú spoke up, shattering Tùng's mixed emotions. Tùng tried to regain his composure. What's all this commotion about? Especially with this guy? There's nothing! He's weird and eats like a pig!
Tú looked around the kitchen but found nothing to eat, so he headed toward the old refrigerator. Tùng cried out, as there was a little pork belly in the fridge. Tùng had spent a hundred thousand on it and had to ration it for a week to save money. Tùng rushed to the fridge, using the toilet plunger to poke in front of the annoying guy:
"Stop! You've eaten the noodles, so please leave!"
Tú didn't say anything and even leaned against the refrigerator with half of his body. Tùng absentmindedly pointed the plunger down, right at the bulge in his pants, making the annoying guy startle and cover himself reflexively.
"And this outfit... I'll lend it to you!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Tùng waved the plunger towards the door, hinting to the guest to leave. Tú sighed and then walked away disappointedly.
Bang!
After the thunderous sound that hurt the ears, it started pouring heavily outside. Tú hurriedly turned back into the house; the skinny boy threw the toilet plunger to the side and rushed out with a bucket and a plastic basin onto the porch.
In less than five minutes, the buckets and basins Tùng left outside were filled with water. Tùng pulled them in, looking satisfied: that way, he saved all that water!
Tùng was dragging the buckets of water when he bent down and saw the man still standing there, staring at him. Tùng glared:
"Why haven't you left?"
"No... can you let me stay for the night? With this heavy rain, I didn't know where to go."
"What???"
Tùng slipped and fell on the floor, the water splashing all over. He angrily pushed the man towards the door:
"Get out! Get out now! I'm not crazy about letting you stay! Go! Go!"
Tùng ranted on with extreme frustration. Tú reluctantly left. As soon as he stepped out onto the porch, Tùng slammed the door shut. Inside, Tùng slowly regained his composure.
There was a puddle of water on the floor after his recent slip.
Tùng quickly grabbed a mop. As he was mopping, he stopped and pondered. He clicked his tongue, let the mop fall freely, and hurried to open the door to see if the guy had left.
From Tùng's perspective, he saw the man still standing in the rain, walking away staggeringly, as if he had nowhere else to go. But who would care? Tùng was about to turn away, but unexpectedly, he saw him slip and fall flat on the ground. Well, it's understandable, as he was walking barefoot.
Tùng lingered a bit to see what would happen, but he just sat there without getting up. Tùng closed the door, then opened it again. Curious and irritated, Tùng quickly grabbed an umbrella and went outside.
Once outside, Tùng widened his eyes. After the fall, the guy's foot was severely bruised, and his big toe was torn and bleeding, causing him to sit still, pressing his hand tightly on the bleeding area. The rain kept splashing on his face, and he was grimacing in pain.
Then the uncomfortable feeling of the rain constantly hitting his face suddenly eased. Tú looked around in surprise.
When he looked up, he saw a kid standing there holding an umbrella for him. The rain was heavy, and the umbrella was small, so the kid was almost completely wet. The kid just stood there, sheltering him without saying a word. Even without speaking, he could feel it clearly: the child was shivering from the cold.
