The only indication of Gideon’s anger was the slight twitch of his eye as he glared down at Danika.
“Stand down, boy,” hissed out Orias. He knew Gideon was seconds away from completely losing his temper. “Don’t screw this up. We’re so close. The other demons are following Ara closely. Soon, they will infiltrate and dismantle their operation from the inside.” Orias felt a little panicked. He wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to control Gideon this round. Seeing those kids in the van and hearing Finn’s name on Danika’s lips was sending Gideon into a rage he hadn’t seen before. “Soon, when we get the names out of her, I’ll help you make sure the brutality of her death will never be forgotten”.
