I open my mouth to say thank you to the driver who had spent hours driving me back to the castle but all he does is get my bags and chuck them next to me before he drives away "Thank you" I mumble, sighing and crouching down to pick up my handbag and small suitcase. What a lovely welcome. Guards are posted everywhere yet none even turn my way or nod to me in greeting, it's strange to come back from my home where everyone is so welcoming and loving towards me to here, where no one even looks at me or acknowledges my presence. Because I've been away for a few days I've forgotten how it feels to be ignored, now it stings a bit more.
