Outside the window, the city's most luxurious night view stretched endlessly across the skyline.
"Brian, everything's ready?" Tracy was wearing a silk robe, wrapping herself around him from behind, her arms circling his waist.
Brian didn't turn around. He didn't even take her hand like he usually would.
But for some reason, his nerves were tightening more and more, a strange pressure pounding at his temples.
"Brian?"
Not getting a response, Tracy walked around him and tiptoed up to kiss him.
Brian instinctively tilted his head away. Her lips landed on his jaw instead.
Tracy froze for a second, then her expression shifted into hurt and anger.
"Brian! What is wrong with you? You've been distracted all afternoon! Don't tell me you're still thinking about that b***h!"
