Luna (The Sovereign's Soul)

It took Luna awhile before realizing that creature is charging towards her. Luna swiftly jumps to side evading the creature by few inches. "Ok, beautiful but deadly!" Luna got on her stance prepared to evade another charge by the creature. Which it dash towards Luna, rising its strong paw-like-hands ready to strike. Luna manage to evade by an inch again, the strike slammed on the ground and cracked it. The creature gave an ear-splitting roar, so loud it shakes Luna's lung out of breath and also her fear. That creature seems to have taken a darker shade in compare to white.

"At least brief me why we're having this cat-fight!" agitated, Luna shouted at the creature. The creature unexpectedly swung its tail at Luna, sending her tumbling on the ground. Luna moaned in pain, perplexed by what's happening now. Luna is intimidated by it and that creature takes on a darker shade every time it strikes. The pain Luna felt is very much real, confused, frighten, anxious everything negative emotion filled her mind, she yelled frantically,"What's happening! Nolan, help!"

That creature leaped at her, swung its paw at Luna again. It was so fast that Luna couldn't see it. This time Luna is thrust into the air then land rolling on the floor to the edge of the circular ground. Unable to stopped the impact, she rolled off the edge but manage grabbed on hanging by the edge by one of her hand.

A strong steady trudge is approaching from afar. Fears rises inside her, Luna finds it hard to breathe that she struggling to choke in breath to catch up with her thumping nervous heart. "No, no..." she whimpered as the fears takes over her. Her fingers are numb and sweaty from holding up her own weight by the edge. Luna shuts her eyes.

Suddenly, faces of her dad, Peter and George flashes across her mind. Then Connor, Mewdonis, and finally, Nolan. Luna gained a little insight, she took in heavy breaths to calm down her nervous heart. Feeling determine again, she yelled "For Peter, I will not die on this, not yet!"

Suddenly, someone called her name out in the distance, "Luna..." That familiar voice called to Luna faded in echo. "Nolan?!" Luna frantically shouted. "One ...to be emptied ...emptied...emp..." The voice faded out in distance. Suddenly it reminds her of something that Mamosa said, "To defeat what you can't see, one first have to be emptied."

"Emptied what?! Ugh," she lets out an agitated grunt. Gathering up her strengths again, flung her other hand to grasps on the edge, stable enough to start pulling herself up. That creature now has darker shade of grey, saw Luna pulling herself up, begin to fasten its pace on Luna. She bellowed out her struggle and manage to scrambled up to the ground. Just when the creature almost landed another strike on her, Luna once again swiftly evade it by inches.

Roar! Enraged the creature raise its hand paw up in the air. Gradually, the creature faded out and no where to be seen. Cold sweat ran down her cheek, as she tread carefully around. Whoop! An apparent strong strike hit Luna. Her vision went upside down, it was before long she tumbled hard on the ground again. She coughed up some blood and think to herself, "If I need to think of something because I don't have nine life." Her whole body tremble in pain, her vision is dizzy, Luna's breathing gradually weaken too,"But all I could think of is fear..." she thought to herself, dejected.

"Then don't,"

.:Luna POV:.

Nolan's voice echoed in my head again. Don't think? That's right, don't think of fear! Don't panic. Empty my fears, empty my negative emotions, only then perhaps I can think of a way. I stand up again, this time in effort of eliminating my fear along with it. "Come out wherever you are!" I shouted with a little confidence now.

I carefully scanned around, now that my mind is half empty and calm. I'm able to breath in steady mode. I recalled back whatever I've learn from Peter and George. When I'm calm I felt my senses are more sensitive. I could feel the slightest wind that brushes pass me, my vision are no longer blurred by my fear, I could hear the sound of wind whistling. Everything became apparent.

lub-dub.....lub-dub....lub-dub

Huh? What's that? Sounds like...that creature! I leap forward just in time and glances back. Wham! There's another crack on the ground. Great, I can hear it if I focus. Now, how do I defeat it? I try to buy some time, by keep evading the creature. I felt something dangled on my neck, I put my chin to chest and saw the Amethyst Pendant I 'm wearing. Power stone! But how do I summoned it?

"To overcome vicious power, one mind has to be resolute.."

Right, that's what he said right? Resolute....I stopped running. Maybe I should stop running and start facing it. Amethyst pendant, let's hope I'm right about this. I turned towards the sound of a steady trudge approaching in hustle. I could feel the nervousness roiling inside me again but I kept it contained. I try my best staying calm. I'm resolute in my determination, so please grant me your power Amethyst.

It's closing in to me, I could even felt the ground tremble as it runs. Amethyst, please let me be right! It was before long a terrifying roar that shakes the ground was thundering in the air. I clenched my fist, put both my hands in font of me, I'm pretty sure that's where the creature is going to strike on me. I gather up my strength and courage ready for an impact.

True enough a heavy strike hit upon me. I let out a strong struggling cry. Trying to hold up against the crushing pressure that falls upon me. That creature strength reduce me to kneeling on the ground. Suddenly I recalled Peter chanted something when he fight. "Arghh!" I groan painfully holding against that creatures strenght, "Cathio Detriemont!"

Nothing happened! Com'on don't fail me now, I need you! Amethyst! With every second, I feel the crushing weight is getting stronger, I could be a squashed potato at any minute now. "Com'on, some hint, Amethyst!" It flickered. Could it be? I'll have to try, I sucked in breath that filled up my lungs and scream, "Amethyst Detriemont!!"

My Amethyst Pendant flare up instantly, granting me power. As the crimson electric buzzes on both my hands, I gradually gained my strength and able to push back the crushing weight. Finally, I garnered my power and gave a strong thrust upward. I could feel the that crushing burden has now lifted off.

That felt really great!

That creature fell a few feet away and landed hard on the ground, it's invisible camouflage gradually vanish. As the creature gradually shows up, it's color slowly turn into pure albino again. Then it starts to disintegrate into sparkling white ashes. Which its clusters back, to form a human female with a lioness face. She has an elegant twig crown of silver on her head. Her hair is white as snow, her skin is pale and smooth as porcelain. "You've gain what's truly yours," She speaks gently but firm.

"So, you actually speaks," Luna crosses her arm. "L'âme du souverain s'éveillera, the fate now depends on you. Becareful, my child." She strides off disappearing into light. Suddenly, Luna realized she was the one that appeared on her dream that night, "Wait! At least tell me who are you.." She is no where to be seen.

A strong gust of wind blew on Luna. She puts up her hand to shelter her eyes against it. When she puts down her arms, Nolan is already standing in front of her said with a relieved tone, "Welcome back." He smile before giving her a hug. "Not fair, I want a hug too!" Mewdonis jumps in hugging them too. She is now back to the empty sphere room. "What's up with you guys?" Luna asks confused but happily returned their hug.

"You were writhing in pain, but all we could do is only watch and not interrupt," Mewdonis said alsmot whimpering. Nolan hugs Luna even tighter, "Glad you can make it." Luna gave them both a reassuring pat, "I've learnt not to give in so easily."

Mamosa walks up to them, "It seems you've passed the test by Virago Sekhmet, The Lady Warrior of Ancient Cathopia Goddess." Luna released from their hug, turn to face Mamosa, "I will stop Sovereign with every ounce of power I have." Mamosa nodded at Luna, pleased. "Great, I can't wait to tell my dad and Connor all about it!" Luna smiled triumphantly.

Bong! Bong! A bell tower rang in distance. Soon a few more tower rang their bell. "Whoa, a surprise celebration for Luna?" Mewdonis asked gleefully. "He's here," Mamosa stated sternly. "Who?" Luna asked. "Venus," Nolan replied with grim expression.

A few distal tapered dagger was flung at them. "Look out!" Mewdonis dragged Luna to the side hiding behind the pillar. Velocious werecats invaded that area and are now going after them. "Onyx Detriemont!" Nolan called out sending a waves of strong winds, throwing off any velocious werecat that leaping towards them.

Luna, Nolan and Mamosa soon engaged in fighting after the groups and groups of werecats that seems to be coming in non-stop. The whole Cat Paw Monastery has been invaded by Venus and his evil troupe. Mewdonis is not a fighter, but she knows how to use weapons she invented to fabricate distraction to help her partners. "There's no end to this!" Luna shouted. "Mewdonis, smoke!" Nolan called out. "You don't say!" Mewdonis took a tiny shiny ball and threw over to the werecats.

Poof! Soon a thicked smoke fills the air, Nolan and Mewdonis lead Mamosa and Luna away from the smoke. The werecats were shrieking ans screaming. "Acid smoke, you've got some wicked invention," Nolan said to Mewdonis. "What can I say? I'mma genius." Mewdonis proudly tapped her chest, then asks, "So now what?"
