Luna (The Sovereign's Soul)

    Elena waited for a moment until their shadow disappeared into the passage, then she walked off carrying out what Nolan has instructed her to do while he is not around. The passage light slowly dimmed, and the door starting to faded back out again. Suddenly, a being sneaked in unseen by anyone into the passage that is now fully covered up by the Purrantheas door.

    They've walked for miles and finally came to the first guardian of the passage. It seems like there'a other branch of passages too and all the passages path combine into one path leading towards the first guardian. Luna held the the already transformed Nolan in her arms and queue up on the line. "Luna, I'll be right behind of you, two miles away," George whispers as Luna walk forward, the guardian stopped her in her way, "Pass" the guardian demanded. Luna lifted her gaze and got a close look at the guardian. The guardian, have the human body of a female but the head of a sphynx. The headdress is very similar to the ancient egyptian goddess she saw in history book. "Whoa," Luna amazed by the tall creature stands before her. The guardian starts squinting its eyes at Luna, "Pass!" it urged Luna impatiently. Luna quickly scramble on the bag at her side remembering what Nolan told her on their way here, "First show them the fake pass, makes sure to swiftly switch to show them your amethyst pendant. They have great eyes for details." Luna did exactly just that. The guardian is suspicious before Luna showed her the amethyst stone. She is convinced and let Luna pass. George heaved a relieved sigh behind.

    For their coming journey into Cathopia, they'll have to go through another stop repeating the procedure. Only this time, they check their belongings. "Proceed," the guardian ordered  Luna, after checking her belongings. Luna walked for another two miles before she came to, a barrier of transparent bubbles-like wall. "Its a camouflage, walk through it," Nolan said leaping off from her arms. Luna hesitantly touched the transparent wall, it wobbles. "Come, let's go in" Nolan said diving into the wall. All this while, she's been hearing stories of it by her dad, now she's finally seeing it herself. It totally brings a whole new meaning to her. She's excited, scared, anticipating and everything else churned inside her jittery stomach. Luna brace herself, took a step diving into the wall.

    The moment she step through, she saw a busy medieval town. People, werecats that covers themselves in cloaks and cats, walks all over on the busy street. "Watch out!" a unicycle cat person passes right in front of her, Luna waiver to the side. She notice there's cat selling their good, performing their act, merchants bargaining their offers, felines clique striding down in elegant poise down the street. The buildings are tall cylinder with holes that looked like doors. There's spiraling planks that allows them to reach the entrance. Trees, card boxes, leather shops and others filled the streets. The whole scene looked magical. Humans with cat ears and tails, cat that speak like human and even normal looking human are interacting at streets like it is a norm.

    Nolan came up to her, still in his cat form, "Wouldn't want to go back are you?" Luna look down, "This is Cathopia? Just like I imagine it is!" Nolan smirked, showing his fang, "You've got a lot more to discover, for now, let's go to that stall." Luna excitedly followed behind Nolan as she admire her surrounding with great interest. "I thought you said this is a cat-shifter country, but I see some as human too." 

    Nolan leap onto a chair, lay lazily on it, casually answer, "We have the freedom to be fully transformed, half transformed or not transformed at all. Some of them are humans too, the permitted ones of course."

Luna took a seat beside Nolan's chair, "I can't believe I'm actually here in a place where I thought was a fantasy all this while!" Nolan lightly wave his tail enjoying the breeze of Cathopia to which he misses, so much. It been long since he's back here. "So this is where you've been living huh?" Luna ask, thrilled by the scene in front of her. Nolan, look gloomily at the distance, not intending to answer her. Suddenly he noticed a being hidden away in the buildings shadow. The seems to notice, Nolan looking at its direction, hence it disappeared into the back of the building.

    Nolan, turned to Luna, who is too busy admiring her surrounding to notice that. "What a gullible child," Nolan thinks to himself. Just then, "Dad!" Luna shouted as she saw George coming through the crowd towards them. "Dad, this amazing is amazing! Why haven't you thought of bringing me here before?" Luna jiggled George's arm when she reached him. George only smile seeing his little girls is delighted by the views around her. "Let's go," Nolan jumps off from the chair. "Where to?" George asked curiously. "Away from prying eyes," Nolan treading down the path in front of him. George grasps what Nolan mean, so he whispers to Luna, "Someone's onto our tail. Keep an eye on our surrounding." 

    Nolan walked down the busy path, taking twist and turns that he knows very well like the back of his paws. George guiding Luna, followed tightly behind Nolan. Then they came to small narrow path, where there are lesser Cathonion to almost none and Nolan stop. His ears twitches, "George, ready for 9 o'clock." he uttered cautiously to George. Keeping Luna close by his side, George is able to grasp the situation they're in. Luna is not sure what's happening, but she's keeping her guards up too, seeing both of them are now treading cautiously on the lonely path.

    Sure enough, there's a slight more than a few careful patter sounds above them, "Now!" Nolan shouted just when a troupe of werecats beings spring onto them from above. George grabbed Luna and sprinted to the left plank and went upward the spiraling plank while Nolan, who have transformed, fights to hold them back. "What about Nolan!" Luna exclaim running after her dad. "He'll manage, for now, leap!" George leap off to the opposite side of the building's plank and landed smoothly, then turned to Luna holding out his hand to her,"Now, Luna!". Luna waver a little, the opposite plank is about a few feet away. 

    She took a glimpse below her, which is five level high of distance from the ground. She breathes nervously, never have she realize she would wobble slightly at the height she's standing above on. "Luna, no worries that I'm here. Jump, before the velocious werecats reached you!" George call out, worried. He knew very well, these troupe of werecats is proficient in practicing Velocious blasts. With Luna, still unable to call out her power, they are no match to whole troupe of them. One of the werecat hurdle over to Luna. "NO!" George yelled.

    Just when the werecats were about to reached Luna, Nolan yanked on the werecat's tail causing it to stopping short. The werecat swing its velocious  powered claws at Nolan, who barely avoided it. Swiftly, Nolan ducked to strike on its ankle then toppled it off the plank. Then Nolan lifted Luna and puts her on his shoulder, jumps off to George's side of plank. Together, they raised onto the roof of the building. Being a Cathonion, they have extraordinary strength compare to normal being. Leaping off from one building to another is just a simple task for them. Nolan can easily leap around while carrying Luna on his shoulder. 

    "Watch out!" Luna screamed when she saw a werecat flung a few distal tapered dagger at them. George slid on his metallic gloves, easily and precisely tossed away the dagger with his metal glove. "Plans?" George asks in restless state. Nolan scanned their surrounding, spotted a mirror tall below them, "Werecats are more in touch with the cats within themselves than being a rationale Cathonion." With that he slide and leap effortlessly to the mirror stall; without being notice, Nolan swiftly swipe an item that has one handle with a few adjustable small mirrors. Nolan delicately puts down Luna to stand on her feet, holding her hand and lead her into the crowd. George catches up behind them shortly. They peek up and saw the werecats were all on the rooftop hiding away their presence from the public, some have sneakily following them while hiding behind the shadows of building.

    "They, didn't came to us when we're exposed in crowd," Luna query softly at Nolan. "Velocious are forbidden in this city if they were to fight us in front the public, they won't be able to hide their velocious magic, the guardian will not stay put. Armies will hunt them down, knowing they practiced velocious magic," Nolan answered softly. "And they strike whenever we're alone," said George glaring at the velocious werecats. Nolan lead both of them to a plain spacious ground with tall buildings circled the around it. In the middle there's the unicycle who almost ran into Luna, he's performing his act. Nolan, hides his face under his cloak, walks over to him, said a few words then he gave him the mirror he took from the stall earlier. 

    "This performance will be dedicated to a lovely maiden, that this gentleman desired to court," with that being said, he lifted the handle over the sun, with dozens of tiny mirrors branched out from a single handle. Each mirror dangled on every dance movement the performer makes. Each tiny mirror reflected the sunlight like a laser on the walls of the building. Making it seems as if like there's dozens of sunlight polka dots dancing on the walls of the building.

    The werecats are instantly attracted to it, just like how cats are attracted to the laser pointer. They are now obsessed in chasing the spots of light around the building. The werecats behavior attracted even more crowds now, because it was amusing to watch them getting in touch more with the cat within them. Within the crowds, Nolan, Luna and George silently slid away from the velocious werecats stalking.

    "So, where do you supposed we can find this Mewdonis?" George directed his question at Nolan to which he turned pointed at Luna, "We can lure Mewdonis, with her."
