It had been a week since the dinner with the King Father and I had not seen a single trace of the man anywhere in the palace. Well, of course, that would be quite easy since it is huge.
Mother, on the other hand, has been her amazingly supportive self. She comes to see me at least once a day and even sat in on some of my lessons, adding her own experiences and helpful advice.
I had been informed the King Father had been meeting with Matteo, still with his ‘advisors’. In other words, any woman he thought was a better match for Matteo.
Matteo and Ares were annoyed and just ignored the women completely, not even acknowledging their presence once. Apollo, who had been present for a couple, said it was hilarious.
