“Hey sweetie.” My beautiful mate's voice echoed down the phone, letting me breathe again.
I had just been notified that an email had come through from her ex saying he would see her soon. He didn’t put his name on the email, but everything in it basically screamed him.
It was a little like some of the other emails we had intercepted and removed before Emily or her staff or friends had seen them, but this one came through before we could get to it.
Most of them he would bullshit about how much he missed her, couldn’t wait to see her, couldn’t wait to show her how much he loved her. Yeah over my dead body!
