Matteo POV
I was surprised when even Mother attended one of Father’s stupid 'meetings' today.
Yes, there had been an attack on Briella’s pack a couple of days ago but they kept brushing it off. I tried to send some warriors to investigate, but Briella’s Father, the Alpha, stopped them from entering the pack, saying there was no need. He gave them a copy of the supposed sketchy security footage and the body of a rogue in a body bag.
Father said Briella wanted to come and apologise on her father’s behalf for his behaviour. That was what this meeting was supposedly about.
Mother just shrugged off the question when I asked why she came as well.
I realised why she was here, when she started to interrupt Briella and ask her more probing questions. She even interrupted Father,
