Matteo helped me stand up as elder Dorothy finally put my robe on me. Better late than never, then we walked down the aisle together, hand in hand.
I kept my head up and made sure my crown didn’t fall off. I was so worried it would. That would be a great look.
Once we were out in the hallway, I looked at all the staff that had come to also defend me even though it wasn’t their job. They didn’t even really know me, yet they risked their lives for me.
“I want to thank you all personally for coming to my defence.” I bowed to them, knowing this was a huge gesture in the Lycan world. I was surprised when even Matteo bowed as well.
I heard gasps which nearly made me laugh as to how cute I thought it was, as they all bowed back.
