I awoke to a cold empty bed, but that didn’t surprise me. I know he got some sleep, even if it was only a couple of hours, so I was happy.
I got up, had a quick shower before heading back to his office to get an update.
I was surprised when Amira said they were all actually here in our apartment office.
“Good morning my love. Did you get enough sleep? Are you hungry?” Matteo welcomed me with his arm out to go and join him behind the desk.
Apollo and Brad were in the room with two others I recognised but couldn’t quite remember their names.
I nodded to them all as they all jumped up and bowed, showing their necks. “Morning everyone.”
