Sally saw a group of security men that were standing not too far from fleets of exorbitant cars, what could these cars be doing here? Sally ignored and gazed around the school, she saw that it was indeed beautiful.
All thanks to Velma who had brought her child to this beautiful school, her only concern was that she would not be able to afford the school fees. She walked towards one of the staff of the school and asked about her daughter.
"She's the one right there with the minister," the staff she spoke to answered. She was pointing to where the guards were.
Sally's face beamed fury and she wondered who the hell the minister could be that he even had the guts to be with her daughter. She turned and walked speedily towards the gathering.
She was stunned to see Loretta exchanging happy conversations with that man, she stormed inside the crowd and held unto
Loretta's hand tightly, before she could walk away, she decided to take a glance at this minister and her eye met with him, her stepsister's husband.
Gosh! This was what she had been trying to avoid. The man might think he's related to her daughter in some way just because they looked alike, but because of the crowds of people present, she couldn't warn him to stay away.
She only turned and walked back to the teacher," What's going on here? why did you let my daughter speak to a stranger? shall I find another kindergarten for my daughter?"
"It was your daughter who ran after him and called him 'dad.' We couldn't stop him cause we thought the minister was her dad indeed, after all, they looked like," the staff said.
"But we are sorry, Mrs Sally, now that we know that you do not want your daughter to speak with anyone, we will take proper measures and respect what you want," the staff added.
Sally was already considering leaving with her child and then telling Velma to find another kindergarten for her child but when she heard the staff speak politely, she changed her mind, she loved the structure of the school.
"Watch it, please," Sally warned the teacher and faced Loretta whose face had become dull," that man is a stranger, how can you call him dad? refrain from referring to any stranger that looks like you as a dad."
Loretta didn't say a word as she was led inside her class by the teacher.
Willard knew that he was on a government assignment so he couldn't react, now that he knows the woman's face, he will find out everything about her.
When he arrived he arrived home, he sent for Manuel immediately.
"That woman is so disrespectful, she couldn't even recognize my presence, I dislike arrogant women," Willard said, remembering how the woman just stormed in and walked away with her kid.
"Go back to that school and bring me Loretta, if I perform a DNA and she's not mine, then I won't bother about her anymore but I can't rest unless I perform a DNA," Willard said, he was really troubled.
Millward wanted to complain that the school management might not let him in with the kid but an idea came to his mind so he left Willard's presence and drove straight to the school.
He waited until the school closed their activities then he walked over to Sally who seemed to be waiting for her mommy to come and pick her up," hey, little one, can you come with me? your daddy wants to see you?"
"My name is Loretta," Loretta frowned at the way Manuel addressed her.
"I'm so sorry, will you follow me?" Manuel was impatient, he wants to leave before Sally would arrive.
"Mom said he's a stranger and that I should stop referring to anyone that looks like me as a stranger, Also, if mom came and did not see me, she would be disturbed," Loretta said.
"Little one…sorry, Loretta, there is a scientific way for you to know if that stranger that looks like you is your father or not, it's called DNA, when the DNA is performed on you, we can easily tell if that man is truly your daddy or not," Manuel was trying to convince the girl.
"Mommy!" Loretta shouted, Manuel turned and saw a woman approaching them.
Gosh! This didn't go as planned. Manual quickly tore a strand of Loretta's hair and kept it, Loretta let out a scream and ran out of fear to Sally.
"Sally, what's wrong, who's that man?" Sally asked.
"That man that came to us at the hotel, he's trying to hurt me," Loretta reported, since Manuel forcefully pulled off a strand of the girl's hair, she had thought Manuel was trying to hurt her.
Sally stormed angrily to Manuel and said sternly," You…why are you trying to hurt my daughter? I'll call the police."
"I'm sorry," Manuel said calmly and walked away, he got inside his car and soon appeared before Willard.
"That stubborn woman is really convincing her child and turning her against us but anyways, I came along with a strand of her hair, we can perform a DNA on it," Manuel said.
"Good, give it to the doctor and give me the
feedback," Willard said.
Manuel walked in an hour later with the result," Sir…" he paused.
Willard sat upright," is Loretta my baby ?" he wished that the child was his.
"No, sir."
