“Sure, you guys spent a month hiking the Long Trail, right? We heard all about it – America’s oldest long-distance trail, Vermont’s greatest treasure, blah blah blah,” Reenah droned.
“Exactly. Well, I didn’t know I was a water fae until we were deep in the woods. I was kind of a late bloomer, my powers never activated when I had my Ascension, or at least if they did I didn't notice. My whole life, I expected to be an earth fae someday, like my family, so if there was anything going on before that I didn't notice. But when we went hiking my powers really came out. I even made it rain.”
