Jules was rooting around in the kitchen cabinets, looking for a road-snack while we debated our next step. There wasn’t much to discuss. Salem remained our best bet, our only bet. Scans throughout the rest of the building hadn’t turned up any other leads.
“There’s an Eastie in forty minutes going to Boston,” Reenah said, referring to the high-speed rail system that connected all the major cities along the east coast of the North American States as she scanned her chat’s holo-screen. “From there, Salem is just a short drive.”
“The terminal’s a good half hour walk from here. We better head out,” Gawen said, looking at Jules.
