The Finding

                                                                                 A week earlier. 

(UNKNOWNS P.O.V.) 

I woke up in what seemed to be a hospital room trying to regain my memories from last night... As I heard the door open and to my surprise a handsome man came in, He had dark green eyes with Brown slicked back hair and tattoos up and down his arms. I could tell he had muscles and from the looks of it; big ones at that, my eyes stopped taking in this handsome man when I got to his face and realized he saw me checking him out.  

“Oh my god...” I said I quickly moved my gaze to my hands.  

“Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone” He said in a deep husky voice letting out a small chuckle, Immediately I knew he was a wolf. I knew everyone was, I was confused why... Uhhhh what's his name? Why can’t I remember his name?! I was quickly drug away from my intent thoughts  

“Thinking about something?” The man said to me confused as if he could see the gears turning in my head  

“Luka! Where’s Luka?!” I asked panicked 

“Luka?” He asked if he didn’t know what I was talking about... 

“Mindy, Is there a Mindy here?” I asked confused. Seeing if I was even in the right pack... 

“Hold on a second...” He said walking out of the room, I sat there for a while and eventually had to pee, I got up and the IV tugged on my arm sending an alarm off. I immediately dropped to ground and froze in a panic. Flash backs of everything that happened when I heard that alarm when off in my head... Before I realized it there was a group of nurses standing around me.  

“Alright everyone Out! This poor girl has been through enough without all of you standing around her!” I heard someone yell and everyone quickly scattered I looked up and saw the hunky nurse with a very pretty woman beside him, she was beautiful. Long black hair with streaks of silver in it, Brown eyes that had streaks of light brown through them, she was very small though, not much taller than I was.  

“Here, let me help you.” The man said in his husky tone, but instead of it being deep this time it was somehow calmer...?  

“Thanks, uh...” I stopped realizing I never got his name... 

“Jason...” He said and looked into my eyes, soon there was a burning sensation all over my body...  

“Why’d you get out of bed?” Jason asked me and I looked confused, realizing I still had to pee I quickly ran to the bathroom.  

“I had to pee!” I yelled before slamming the door closed and finally releasing my bladder in the toilet. I didn’t even realize I left out a small moan as I did it. I wiped and washed my hands and walked out of the bathroom sheepishly...  

“I’m sorry but I couldn’t hold it any longer...” I said sheepishly  

“it’s okay” he said with a chuckle. But the woman was no longer in sight. 

“Hey where's the girl?” I asked confused  

“Oh, she’ll be right back...” He said quickly trying to change the subject. 

“So, do you remember anything from last night? Or ever?” He asked trying not to push too hard.  

“Remember it? Yeah, want to relive it? No” I stated firmly hoping he wouldn’t push the issue.  

“So where were you?” He asked  

Well, there went my plans of not wanting to answer any questions until I was around Mindy, I kinda remembered her, from when our packs used to get together. But for some reason I don’t remember what she looks like.  

“I just uh...- um- uh-- don’t-- really--” I said trying to stall as much as possible... 

Just then a woman came in with a man, The same woman as before but this man was older, he was taller, bigger, he had light green eyes with hazel like flairs in them... He was also a wolf, but a powerful one. Not an alpha but maybe a beta? I was broken by my thoughts once again  

“Willow...?” My eyes met his and filled with tears. I hadn’t been called that in so long I forgot what my name sounded like...  

“Mindy?” I asked tears streaming down my face making her cry as well as soon as those words left my mouth, she ran over to me and gave me the biggest hug in the world, I haven't been touched by a single soul since Luka saved me, it was the first nice touch I'd been given in so long.  

“Honey get the alpha! It's an emergency!” She yelled at him and he ran out of the room storming the yards.  

“Willow where have you been honey...?” She asked and I looked at Jason.. Not because I was scared of him but he asked me the same thing... I wasn’t sure how to respond and then it hit me and I jumped off the bed. 

“Luka! I saw Luka! He saved me!” I yelled making Mindy cry more and looking at me with eyes full of hope!  

“Do you remember where he is?” Mindy asked me questioning me...  

“He said he was going to my pack... To let them know I'm okay and where I am... “I said as she pulled me into a hug.  

“How long was I gone?” I asked, even though I really didn’t want to know the answer.  

“Almost 5 years..” Mindy said while still hugging me, I could feel her tears fall on my back as she hugged me.  

I looked over at Jason realizing who I was he started to tear up as well.  

“Not you to!” I yelled at him making him jump.  

“I’m sorry okay! We were friends...” He said as he started to tear up again... 

“Jay?” I asked him and he nodded his head.  

“Oh my god Jay! I had gross thoughts about you!” I yelled making everyone laugh 

“It’s not my fault I got hot.” He replied making everyone including myself laugh more as I punched his arm 

“Ow! That hurt! Are you sure you were held captive and not in prison?” He asked  

“Yeah I'm sure you big i***t!” I yelled pulling him into a hug, I saw his mark spot, it was marked, He was marked....  

“So, who's the lucky lady?” I asked still in a hug 

“I AM” I heard a voice roar behind me as Jasons arms trickled down to my hips as we pulled apart.  

“JASON HOW COULD YOU, AND WITH THIS w***e?” She yelled at him and me. 

“Marrissa. It's not what you think it is, this is...” Jason responded but before he could continue, she walked up to me and tried to slap me in the face, I caught her hand mid swing.  

“Try it b***h, I dare you. It'll be the last thing you do.” I got in her face and growled. Jason dropped his arms from my waist and grabbed my shoulders making me face him and drop her arm.  

“Willow, you can’t do that to people. We aren’t kids anymore and she’s, my mate...” Jason said staring into my eyes pleading with me to understand him. I understood just fine. But I was not about to be disrespected again.  

I turned to Marrissa I think her name was and looked her in the eyes as my eyes shifted from my normal seafoam green to a black in anger  

“I understand you are Jasons mate, But I was Jasons friend. Before I was kidnapped. And I will not be disrespected. “I answered and extended my hand for her to shake it but she just backed away and ran into the alpha.  

“Oh my god I'm so sorry sir I didn’t mean to--” she trailed off as he just moved her out of the way and walked towards me. She smirked thinking I was going to get in trouble but what he did shocked her instead.  

“Willow?!” His eyes filled with tears as he picked me up into a hug. 

“Uncle Ron!” I yelled and wrapped my arms around him, Usually he would never but I was missing, it was an exciting moment for all of us.  

“Willow oh my god what happened to you?!” Alpha Ron asked concerned 

“Can we go somewhere more private so I can talk to you all? Jason included?” I asked meeting Jasons gaze 

“Yes, give me one minute and we will have you out of this hospital and in to the pack house until we can take you home tomorrow!” Alpha Ron said.  

“Thank you, Uncle Ron and Aunt Mindy? Do you think I can barrow some clothes?” I asked politely as if I didn’t just almost break Marrissa's hand.  

“Yes, I can Hunny, Jason, stay with her until I get back! Marissa, since you almost just assaulted an alphas daughter, I do not want you anywhere near her!” Aunt Mindy said to us. 

“Yes, Luna.” Marrissa answered and stumbled herself out of the room Glaring at me the entire time.  

“I thought the mate bond was something you could trust...” I laughed and looked at Jason whose eyes were still fixated on me looking over every inch of my body and eyes turning black. 

“Jay?” I asked as my breath got caught in my throat...  

“Huh?” He said as he snapped back into reality  

“Why were you looking at me like that?” I asked him confused, I knew why I just wanted to hear him say it.  

“Like what?” He asked confused and rubbed the back of his neck like he didn’t know 

“Jay, I can see your eyes remember?” I said in a joking tone 

“f**k, why do they do that?” he said angry that he was caught checking me out 

“So, still like what you see huh?” I asked and laughed sitting back on the bed  

“Willow, come on now. I’m mated. Marked and everything.” He said in a Matter-of-fact tone in his voice 

“Jason, I know that, I'm not stupid. I was gone for 5 years but I still know what a mate bond is and all that, all I'm saying is you were checking me out just like I did when you first walked in” I said and shrugged my shoulders in a matter-of-fact tone just like his. 

“5 years in captivity and you are still as stunning as you were at 14” Jason said looking over your body once again 

“Were you not just lecturing me over the mate bond!” I asked and punched his arm 

“Yeah, but I was just stating a fact!” He yelled and grab his arm 

“Stop hitting me!” He yelled again 

“Stop being such an i***t!” I yelled back at him 

Jason and I always had this friendship, love hate, random flirting. We always had a thing and right after we had s*x for the first time is when I got kidnapped. I never lost those feelings for him but seeing him mated I realized he wasn’t the one for me after all.  

“What are you thinking about?” He asked me as he met my gaze 

“I was just thinking back to before I got taken” I answered honestly, I didn’t have to lie to him, I was turned on and small pool started in my underwear and he could smell it.  

“Stop.” He said as he blinked and his eyes turned black with lust yet again 

“Jason, I can't help what my body does! Control yours!” I yelled right before the door opened and in came Jess my best friend from this pack and two of our other friends, Alyssa and Megan.  

“WILLOW?!” They yelled and pushed Jason out of the way whose eyes fixed themselves, and basically dog piled on top of me 

“Guys, Can’t----- breathe---” I managed to stifle out. I looked at Jason for help but he mouthed you're on your own.  

“I hate you!” I mouthed back to him 

“Okay girls off!” Jason said pulling each of them off of me 

“Jay don’t do that! We missed her!!” They all yelled at him  

“Yeah, well if you would've stayed on her any longer you would have killed her!” He yelled pointing at me trying to catch my breath 

“Oh my god willow I'm so sorry! Jess said as she sat next to me. I looked out in the hall where Marrissa was still standing across the way from the door leaning on the wall looking in. I got up walked over to the door and slammed it in her face.  

“It's okay girls, at least you didn’t try to hit me for hugging your mate” I said and rolled my eyes at Jason.  

“Jay are you f*****g kidding me?!” Allyssa yelled at him 

“It's not my fault okay! You know how the mate bond works!” Jason yelled back 

“I do, but never in a million years would I yell at willow, she knows willow and did it anyways!” Allyssa yelled back at him 

“Okay but I understand why she's jealous” Megan added in 

“Really why?” Jason asked, I knew where this was going and shook my head when he asked.  

“Well let's see, you both have been super close until willow was taken” Megan started  

“We barley ever got a chance to hang out with her when you were around.” Jess chimed in 

“Oh, and let's not forget growled at any man who came near her” Allyssa added  

“And we had s*x right before I was taken” I added and everyone looked between us with their mouths wide open  

“YOU DID WHAT?” Jess yelled at him and hit him upside the head, I started laughing and Megan did the same thing to me 

“What was that for?!” I yelled at her 

“You were just in the wrong!” Jess yelled; I knew Marissa could hear us outside of the door 

“What did I do?!” I yelled rolling my eyes  

“YOU DIDN’T TELL US!” They all three yelled in unison  

“I thought he would have told you guys!” I screamed making everyone stop yelling at me 

“Listen it’s not my fault he didn’t tell you guys after almost 5 years apparently but in case you haven’t noticed, I was kidnapped!” I yelled and everyone just looked at me with pity eyes 

“Do not do that!” I yelled again and they shifted their gaze to the floor 

“Guys seriously it's not a big deal, Luka helped me...” I said and they all looked up but Jason, he rolled his eyes and left out a big sigh and started to take out my IV 

“Luka?” Everyone asked their voices swooning over him and raising their eye brows.  

“NOT LIKE THAT” I yelled making them all laugh 

“But he’s hot right?” Megan asked looking at me waiting to answer I looked at Jason who also eagerly waiting my response but not for the same reason the girls were, I shifted my gaze back and forth for a few seconds before I finally realized that he’s mated and it doesn’t matter how we feel about each other anymore, I won't f**k with the mate bond.  

“So, f*****g hot” I said and sank my shoulders and threw my head back 

“You should have seen him when we escaped, shifting and taking out men left and right while I was on his back, oh my god” I said being overly dramatic just a bit.  

“I know! I'm hoping he finds his mate soon...’ Megan says and looks at me  

“He hasn’t found his?” I asked eagerly awaiting her response.  

“No, I'm hoping it's you.” Jess said instantly  

“ME?!” I reply practically screaming  

“Yes, you i***t! He left to find you!” Jess said looking at Jason who just had his head down 

“Hey girls? Can we catch up later? I'm feeling a little tired and I still have a lot to explain to Uncle Ron and Aunt Mindy.” I asked quickly noticing how upset he was  

“Yeah, that’s fine, they said you are leaving tomorrow?” Jess said as she started to stand up 

“Yeah, but I'm sure I'll be back really soon! And I promise to see you guys before I leave this time!” I quickly answered giving her the information she needed.  

“Okay, then we will see you later!” They all said as they walked out the door once again leaving it open 

“Jay you are mated, Marked and all and I won't f**k with the mate bond dude.” I said as I made my way over to him  

“I know Willow, it still hurts to see you get worked up over another guy” Jason replied sadly 

“I know it does, but how do you think I feel when you are mated to Marissa, we had out fun in the past and I'm sorry for getting kidnapped and not being able to continue where we left off last time but we knew this was going to happen Jay... I'm sorry...” I responded again wrapping my arms around him and forcing him to look me in the eyes.  

“I know Willow, I'm sorry, but my body still burns to be with you. Being this close to you is already turning me on” Jason added as I made eye contact with Marissa 

“I won’t let you cheat on your mate Jay, if you need to leave, please by all means leave” I said throwing my hands up and backing up 

Jason grabbed me and pulled me close again.  

“No, Willow I just got you back I'm not letting you go that easy, I will not cheat on my mate but just know my body burns as much as yours does when we touch” Jason said pulling me close and resting his head on mine while my head was on his chest 

“I know, but how do you know?” I said and looked at Jason as his eyes turned black with lust 

“I can smell it” He answered and lowered his head to where our foreheads were touching  

“I won’t do this Jay, and I'm leaving tomorrow so you won't have to worry anymore, okay? I won't ruin things with you and Marissa!” I said backing up again and moving to the bed laying down and closing my eyes 

“I never said you would Willow; I would ruin things not you; I would ruin things for you” Jason said climbing on top of me hovering over me, I never realized how big this man actually was.  

“Jay, you need to get off and you need to get off now.” I said getting anxious again 

“Willow--- I---” I cut him off before he could say anything else I threw him off of me and onto the floor, He looked and saw the door was cracked.  

“WILLOW?” He looked up at me and I just looked at him, my eyes closed slowly and I drifted off without warning.
