More Than A Minute Left

[ Time: 1:29 left! ]
's**t! We have more than a minute left!' Oliver thought to himself as he evades the ferocious attacks of the leader of the dire wolves.
His breathing is a lot harder than before which began to affect his speed. 'It's only a matter of time before I hit by this monster! I need to do something daring rather than scratching it little by little!' Oliver thought to himself.
With that in his mind, he took a big step backward without a moment of hesitation. At the next moment, when the leader dire wolf made a move, he charged toward it head-on.
When it was about to reach him, he jumped as high as he can to avoid the ferocious fangs of that creature. As he was falling, he used the two dagger in his hands to stab the eyes of his opponent.
"GRROOWWLLL!!!" the leader of the dire wolves began to growl as its eyes bleed.
When Oliver landed on the ground, the creature managed to hit him as it squirmed with the pain that it was feeling.
Oliver was thrown by its enormous strength toward the body of the huge boar that they hunted together with Alexander and Sophia.
"BROTHERRR!!!" shouted William upon seeing what happened to Oliver.
After a few moments, Oliver was able to get up. "I'm okay!" he shouted at the next moment. Upon hearing him, William smiled and began killing even more wolves than before. Like Oliver, he was already exhausted to the point that he was panting very hard.
"How much time we have, system!?" shouted Oliver as he tried to charge toward the wolves that were attacking him.
[ Time: 0:30 left! ]
"Brother William! Hold on for 30 seconds! We will finish this quest right after that!" shouted Oliver as he slices every dire wolf that charged toward him.
While they were fighting, they heard a shout that suddenly changed the expression of their faces. "WHERE ARE YOU, OLIVER, WILLIAM!?" said the voice that resounded through the forest.
William and Oliver looked to each other upon hearing the voice. They shouted in unison, "WE ARE HERE, BOSS!!!"
"We will come there now so hold on there!" shouted Alexander upon hearing Oliver and William.
After hearing Alexander, the two boys smiled and their morale went through the roof. Despite their built-up fatigue, the attacks of Oliver and William became even stronger than before since there was some light in their situation.
Without them realizing it, the blinded leader of the pack was able to stop the bleeding of its eyes for some reason. Using its great sense of smell, it did not hesitate on charging toward Oliver who wounded his eyes.
William, who saw the whole thing from afar spot, "Brother Oliver! That ominous creature is coming at your way!!!"
It was already too late before Oliver heard the shout. The vicious fangs of the wolves were about to reach him. "s**t!" he could only say as he looked beside him. He decided to just close his eyes seeing the impossibility of the situation.
He was confused when he did not feel anything after closing his eyes for a few seconds. That's why he opened his eyes while wondering to himself, 'Am I dead?'
To his surprise, Alexander and the others were able to arrive on time. Alexander was right in front of him after slashing the leader of the pack to its death.
"Are you okay?" asked Alexander as he looked toward Oliver.
Oliver smiled upon seeing a notification bar that appeared in front of his vision.
[ Surprise Quest Completed! ]
"Brother William, we succeeded!" shouted Oliver as he falls to the ground.
Alexander decided to catch him as he said to Oliver, "Sorry for being late!"
"All of you are just in time boss! We did not lose our life so you didn't come late!" said Oliver with a smile.
"Yeah, thank goodness we received a surprise quest from the system when we managed to meet with dad and the others," said Alexander.
"Wait, boss! Let me open my quest reward for a bit!" said Oliver with a smile.
[ Suprise Quest Completed!

"I gained a skill and leveled up!" said Oliver with a smile on his face.
"Congratulations! I just gained some experience with that surprise quest!" said Alexander in response.
Meanwhile, all of the dire wolves that surrounded Oliver and William earlier decided to retreat upon seeing their leader died at the hands of Alexander.
"I got a new skill!" shouted William after Oliver and Alexander went to his sides.
"What skill did you acquire?" asked Alexander with a curious expression.
"I got a skill called Heavenly Guard!" he said with a bragging tone.
"Congrats!" said Alexander.
While searching through the battlefield, Alcatraz said, "You two managed to kill many wolves in that fight huh? No wonder you two got skills from your system!"
"I also want a skill!" said Zandra and Sophia in unison.
Alcatraz smiled at them and he said, "You two will get your own skills later in the dungeon so be patient, okay?"
Upon seeing all the bodies of the dire wolves, Alexander said to them, "Let's start gathering all of these dire wolves. We can retrieve many materials here. And the meat from these animals can be eaten!"
"Yeah, Alexander's right! Let's start gathering these, then! Oliver and William, you two just rest in a corner, okay? The two of you must be tired from all that fighting!" said Alcatraz upon hearing his son.
With that in their mind, they immediately began to move because they wanted to start dungeon diving as soon as possible. Now that their ration is ready to be prepared, they don't need to hunt anymore.
Upon packing all the dire wolves, they decided to go back to their home as to not waste any more time.
"We're home, honey!"
