Lucas got home a bit late. Her mother was the one who opened the door for him
"You are late son." her mother said
"I told you I am busy, I just dropped by I am leaving shortly," Lucas replied as he gave her mother a hug
"But am glad you came. we were about to have dinner. please join us."
"Sure. thank you"
Lucas followed her mother to the dining room
What he saw made him know what his parents were up to.
