Scarlet arrived home and pretended everything was alright
"Am home mother," she shouted
she went to the kitchen to get a glass of water as she waited for her mother to show up .Few seconds passed away and she hadn't responded, it was unlike her. she tried looking for her and even tried her phone but it was out of reach.
She tried to assure herself that everything was alright, maybe she's out of battery she assumed.
There was a knock at the door." come on in, the door is unlocked," she uttered
Mary got in and sat down on the sofa in the living room looking very unhappy, she was my mother's friend.
"What's going on," I inquired
"Am sorry but things ain't good, she was rushed to the hospital yesterday. She was at the mall where she lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital.
