Aurora Geordie's lawsuit had caused quite a stir. The incident nearly ruined her future, and as a student at the Capital University, she placed great importance on her reputation. If she didn't pursue this lawsuit, it would directly affect her standing at the university, and even her enrollment.

The school, understanding the situation and the impact of the event, granted Aurora Geordie a few days off to handle the lawsuit.

At the Zhang Family Mansion, Nicole Palmer and May Cowper were sitting in the living room, chatting about the latest movies.

"Hey, Yaoyao, there's a new movie out called 'The Tyrant,' and it's really popular! It has two male leads, and Jay Hubbard, who plays one of them, is so handsome! May Cowper saw that the magazine's front page was dominated by Jay Hubbard. Jay Hubbard was a rising star who had recently won several film awards and been named a dual Best Actor. She became interested: "Our family invested in 'The Tyrant.' They say the total investment was only 200 million, and in just 15 days, it's already made 1.8 billion at the box office. Nicole Palmer excitedly shook her: "Let's go see it!"

Olive Bertha, the renowned lawyer, was a formidable figure. Any case he took on was sure to win, and he was highly respected in high society. It was rare for him to visit without an appointment, and his schedule was reportedly booked well into next year.

Olive Bertha adjusted his glasses and did not sit down. Instead, he pulled out some documents from his briefcase: "I'm here to find Miss May Cowper. She is involved in spreading false rumors, which have severely damaged my client's reputation. My client has authorized me to handle this lawsuit. Which one of you is May Cowper?"

"What?" May Cowper jumped up from the sofa: "I spread false rumors? What are you talking about?"

Murray Poe and Nicole Palmer exchanged confused looks. Murray Poe quickly asked Olive Bertha: "How could Yaoyao be involved in a lawsuit?"

Olive Bertha coldly bypassed Murray Poe and handed the documents to May Cowper: "Miss Zhang, on September 15th of last year, you paid 200,000 yuan to Dr., the school nurse at South City First Middle School, to frame my client, Ms. Jiang, for being pregnant. This has caused significant harm to her reputation and created a negative social impact. My client has now filed a civil lawsuit against you and Dr.. Here are the relevant documents; take a look."

May Cowper looked at the documents in disbelief and quickly flipped through them. They detailed the allegations against her for defaming Aurora Geordie.

Murray Poe also glanced at the documents, seeing the critical content: "...May Cowper is suspected of paying 200,000 yuan to Dr., the school nurse at South City First Middle School, to fabricate the story of Ms. Jiang being pregnant. This has greatly affected Ms. Jiang's life and studies. Ms. Jiang is now filing a civil lawsuit against Miss Zhang, demanding a public apology and a published retraction of the defamation, as well as 5 million yuan in civil damages..."

The documents also included Dr.'s testimony and a phone number. This phone number was used to contact Dr. and transfer 200,000 yuan via PayPal to make the false claim. The phone number and PayPal account belonged to May Cowper.

After reading the documents, May Cowper shook her head in disbelief and threw the papers on the table: "Impossible, I never did these things! This is slander! Blatant slander!"

Olive Bertha expressionlessly put away the documents: "The court summons will arrive soon. You can address any issues in court. I'm just here to deliver the message."

He put the documents back in his briefcase and turned to leave with a cold face.

If Murray Poe hadn't known Olive Bertha and dealt with him before, he wouldn't have believed this was the same person. He stopped Olive Bertha, skeptical: "Your client is really Aurora Geordie?"

Olive Bertha nodded: "Yes."

Without another word, he left with his briefcase.

Long after he left, Murray Poe still stood, staring at the empty doorway, his face filled with shock and suspicion. Olive Bertha was a top lawyer, and it was hard to hire him. How could Aurora Geordie afford to hire him for a lawsuit?

May Cowper, a spoiled rich girl who had never suffered any injustice, naturally refused to admit to something she didn't do, especially such a serious accusation. Her eyes blazed with anger.

She couldn't believe Aurora Geordie would do this!

She grabbed Murray Poe: "Brother, look! This is what that b***h Aurora Geordie did! After all this time, can't you see her true colors? She dared to frame me! I never did those things, and I don't even know who Dr. is! For money, she would stoop to such despicable and shameless acts!"

He dialed a number that wasn't saved in his phone but was etched in his memory. This was the number he helped Aurora Geordie choose. Back then, she had happily put the SIM card into a Nokia phone that came with the purchase and made her first call to him. Her phone only had a few numbers, one of which was his.

But the call went to a disconnected number.

Nicole Palmer, seeing that Murray Poe still held hope for Aurora Geordie, flashed a hint of malice in her eyes, but her face showed only anxiety: "Zeqian, it's clear that someone is trying to frame Yaoyao. You need to find a lawyer for her right away!"
