11. I am not sure if it rains in hell, darling

2615 Words
Kimmie wanted to go to the cinema to watch a movie. I couldn't really say no, but right now I regret it. We walked over here because she lives just ten minutes away. Then of course, it had started to rain when we watched the movie. We have been waiting for some few minutes out in the dark under a roof and I am so pissed off, because of this. Kimmie doesn't want to walk out into the rain, so we have to wait. I turn to look at her annoyed. She just rolls her eyes and avoids me. "You are not going to die of a little rain." I complain. She looks at me with widening angry eyes. "Little? Do you call that little? It rains like hell." She says irritated. I step into the rain and look up, feeling the cold drops falling down on my face. "I am not sure if it rains in hell, darling." I tell and walk back, next to the angry girl. She just rolls her eyes. "Well, I don't have a jacket or the shoes to walk in that." She says and points at the wet ground. I growl as I take off my leather jacket, at least some of us thinks. I hold it like she can just put her arms in it, she hesitates. "Today, honey!" I say irritated as I shake the jacket. I just want to go back to her house. She moves fast now and takes it on, finally. Then I step in front of her and bend down for her to sit on my back. "What?" She asks confused and I sigh of annoyance. "I want to go, so get your f*****g ass in the air!" I tell irritated. Damn, this girl knows how to make me angry, and still, I want to be around her. "But..." "Now!" I yell impatient making a couple that walks past us, stares at me. Then I feel her jumping up on my back. "Thank you, honey." I say upset while rolling my eyes. "No problem." She says as I start walking in the damn rain. Took only four steps until my shoes got soaked. Five minutes and I am soaking wet and cold. "You owe me so much for this." I tell gritting my teeth. My hands are so cold that they are shaking and I think I have lost the feeling in my feet. All of the things I do for her and the only thing I get is a slap in the face. As we come to her house, I let her down. My body is shaking so bad of the coldness. My hair, feet just every part of my body has been soaked and cold. I reach to open the door but struggle with the trembling. "K-Kimmie?" Before I know it, she opens the door and I step in hearing my shoes squeak under me. I take them off only to feel the wet soaks under me as I follow Kimmie up to her room. When we reach it, I try to take off some of my wet clothes but realize after a while it is hopeless with my shaking hands. I growl in anger. "What is it?" Kimmie asks as she comes towards me. "H-help. M-me." I struggle to say. Her eyes widen like she just realized that I am completely frozen on my ground. "Sit down on the bed." She says and I start walking like a damn penguin as she moves in another direction. "A-all of my clothes are s-soaked," I tell, I can't sit in her bed and make it wet. She comes towards me with her hands full. "I have some big cloths that would probably fit you." She tells me and places them on the bed. Then she looks at me unsure what to do. "Just take it o-off." I plead. It is so cold it hurts. After taking off all of my clothes, I finally got to wear some new ones. Gray sweatpants, a blue t-shirt, and a black hoodie. "Thank you." I tell her and she smiles at me. "Kimmie?" I say and take a step towards her. "Yes?" "Can I ask you something?" She nods to me a little unsure. "Why did you end it?" I ask. I want to know, she never really told me. Kimmie looks a little confused but then takes a deep breath. "Umm, because... you... Sam, you aren't really a person that is easy to be with. You are complicated." She tells me, and it hurt. "I am complicated?" I ask irritated now and she raises her eyebrow. "Every time I see you, Sam, you have either been in a fight or you are in a fight!" She says with a raised angry voice. "It's not my fault if you haven't noticed!" I argue and she rolls her eyes. "You make them hit you Sam!" She points out. I open my mouth to yell but shut it as I find out I don't have anything to say to that. She is right, I make people angry, even when I do not mean it. "So you just ended it because of that?" I ask calmer and her eyes widen with some kind of realization. "You didn't want it to end did you?" She asks stunned and it makes me take a step back from her. "Oh my god, Sam." She looks at me shocked and I roll my eyes of irritation. Okay, this is not going to end well. "You like me!" She almost shouts and I roll my eyes. "No, I don't." "Yes, you do." She grin. "You know what, I am just gonna drive home." I say angry and walk out the door with Kimmie following me. "Sam, you can't drive your bike in this weather!" She yells after me as we go down the stairs. "Watch me!" I tell and take on my wet shoes. I open the door only to feel her grab my arm. I jerk her off me and start walking as I reach my bike, Kimmie drags me by the hoodie. "You can't drive!" She shouts and I feel my new clothes already soaked. "I can do what I want! It's not like anyone cares!" I yell right in her face. I am so angry, wet and cold, again. "I care." She says softly and I just roll my eyes. "Yeah, right." "Sam," She sighs. "Why didn't you want it to end?" Kimmie asks, and I take a deep breath. "I never said that." I tell her annoyed, by this. "You like me, don't you?" She teases again. "No, I don't" "Yes, you do." She smiles. "No." I shake my head. "Yes." "No." "Yes you do..." "OKAY FINE! I LOVE YOU. I FREAKING, f*****g LOVE YOU!"I scream and my eyes widen as I realize what I just said. Oh god. She looks at me in shock with her mouth slightly open. I just told her I love her. Why the hell did I do that! "You-you love me?" She asks, her eyes frozen on me. Then she smiles. "Oh my god, you love me." "Kimmie... I..." I mess up my words as I try to save myself from this. "You love me!" She says so happily and it makes me confused. Then she attacks me with a jump and I catch her. "Oh my god." I say as she wraps her legs around me and laid her arms around my neck. She holds me tight and I bury my face in her neck. Her smell is so amazingly good and her skin wet, but soft. God, I do really love her. "You love me." She whispers in my ear and I roll my eyes as I start walking back inside with her. "You lov..." "Shut up." I tell her irritated as I walk up the stairs. When I stop in her room, she cups my cheeks and looks at me with a bright smile, which makes my heart melt. God, she is so beautiful. "You should have said something, Sam." She tells me and I let her down. "Thought you didn't like me." I tell her and then bite my inner cheeks. "I do, it's just I didn't know if you liked me." She says with a crooked smile and it makes me snort as I brush her wet hair behind her ear. Then she put her hands on my waist but moves back fast again. "God, you are soaked." She tells while looking at my clothes. "Yeah, I wonder why." I say amused by her and she rolls her eyes with a smile. "I find something for you... again." She says and steps towards her closet. Kimmie and I have now changed to new dry cloths. Now I just want to go to bed, I am so tired and cold. I drag up the duvet on her bed only to find a stuffed tiger, and I snort. My eyes drift to Kimmie who has red cheeks. "Umm..." She says, embarrassed and it makes me smile as I take the tiger in my hands, studying it. Then I step towards Kimmie. "It's cute." I tell her with a small smile and meet her eyes. I am not going to tease her about it. She looks at me softly like I just said the most amazing thing in the whole world. Then she wraps her arms around me tight and I just stand here shocked. I didn't expect her to attack me with a huge, just like she did when she jumped on me. She is full of surprises apparently. She moves back and she has tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry." I say I didn't mean to make her cry. She shakes her head. "My grandfather gave this to me when I turned five and when I was eight... he died. I have had it in my bed ever since." She tells me. I just look at her with a small smile, because I understand her more than anything. I lean down and kiss her forehead, I am not sure if it is okay. It is just I really wanted to do something. Since she told me about the tiger. It is cute, and she is cute. Kimmie's cheeks turn red and she buries her face in my chest and it makes me chuckle as I lay my arms around her. "What is wrong with you?" She mumbles on me and it makes me grin. "I don't know." I answer because I really don't. I told that I love her and that her little tiger is cute and now I kissed her on the forehead. There must be something wrong with me today. She leans back to look at me with a cute little smile. "I like it." She says and then yawns. "I think someone is tired." I tell amused and she rolls her eyes. We lay down in bed, just looking at each other. Kimmie struggles to keep her eyes open and it is adorable with the tiger squeezed in her face. How can someone be so beautiful? I lean in and kiss her cheek. She smiles with her eyes closed and leans in to bury her face in my chest with her little tiger. I hold her tight to me and feel her warmth and softness. "You are so sweet right now." She mumbles with her tired voice. "You want me to be sweet?" I ask amused. "Yes." She says as she rubs her cheek on my chest. "I'll try." I smile and kiss her on the top of her head. I wake up to the sound of the front door shutting and someone talking. Then find myself in Kimmie's room. She is laying in my arms, still sleeping. Her arm is around me with the tiger under it, pressed on the side of my stomach. I kiss the top of her head and then I feel her move. She must have wakened as well. "Hi, cutie." I tell and she moves back to look at me. She is so tired, that I just have to kiss her on the forehead. Not long after she laid her hand on my cheek and brush her fingers on my skin. I smile at her of the light touch on my face. "You're still here." She says and then yawns. I narrow my eyes, confused. "Of course I am. I can't leave something as adorable as you." She looks down embarrassed with red cheeks. Her red hair is messy and it makes me smile so bright, of how perfect she is. "Kim, are you up?" I hear her mother yell from downstairs and Kimmie's eyes widen. "Oh god." She mumbles and buries her face in my chest again. "Please, don't leave." She begs and how can I say no to that. "Okay." I answer and she looks up at me surprised. "You want to stay even though my insane family is here?" Her words make me snort. "Yes." I tell her. Kimmie's green eyes are shining so bright. She cups my cheek again and starts moving her fingers lightly on my skin. Her softness makes me close my eyes. I follow Kimmie into the kitchen in my sleeping clothes. I don't have anything to wear. Her mother is preparing breakfast. "Hi, mom." Kimmie says and her mother turns to us. She has the same hair color and same eyes as her daughter. I have forgotten how alike, they are. "This is Sam." I remember seeing Kimmie's mother a lot as a kid. Kate looks at me grinning amused as she points at me. "I remember you. Almost every week I got a phone call from the kindergarten or from school about a fight between you two." She tells me still amused, and I look down at the floor, feeling a little embarrassed. Kimmie and I fought almost about everything as kids. Still, I was the one always getting some kind of a punch. "Kimmie really gave you some bad bruises." Kate's eyes lands on her daughter, a little angry. "She was the one with the big mouth!" Kimmie argues, and I take a step away from her. Kate chuckles. "I am not sure who was the worst of the two of you." She tells us while rolling her eyes, but then she looks at us thoughtfully. "Why is she here by the way? And so early?" She asks, wondering, and then her eyes drift down to my clothes. She was about to say something, but then I feel Kimmie kiss my cheek and I turn red. "That's why." She says and I look down at her with wide eyes. "Oh, okay." I hear her mother say and I look at her. "It's better than you give her a bruise." She says with a smile, and I can't keep my mouth shut. I just can't. "I am not sure if biting is better." I say chuckling only to get hit in the arm by Kimmie. Her mother looks at us trying to suppress her laughter. "You just can't keep your mouth shut can you?" Kimmie ask me irritated. I look down at the shorter girl with a huge satisfied smile on my face. Kimmie rolls her eyes, but after that, she has a small smile on her face. "You want to stay for breakfast?" Kate ask me and my eyes drift to Kimmie. She looks at me, hopeful, I can't say no to those pleading eyes. "I would love to." I tell and they both have the same smile on their faces.
