14. You know I love your smile

2638 Words
"Oh my god!" I shout as I wake up from someone jumping into my lap. "Honey!" I yell as I meet her green smiling eyes. I must have fallen asleep on the couch and she must have just walked right in since dad is not home. I take a deep breath, calming myself down. "Hi." She whispers and kisses my cheek. It's been a week since she got better and now she is shining brightly as the sun. Even though I am still mad for her waking me up with a heart attack, I can't but smile at the view of her. The smile fades as I look down at her. "Isn't that my hoodie?" I ask as I touch it. Then I look at Kimmie who grins with a nod. "And those are my pants!" I say irritated and she shrinks. I look at her annoyed and she is avoiding my eyes. "You look stunning." I tell her grinning and kiss her temple. "You asshole." She says and hit my shoulder. I smile, she thought I was angry with her for stealing my clothes, she looks amazing, even though they are too big. "I wanted to wear something more comfortable." She tells me as I lean in to kiss her cheek. "You didn't steal one of my t-shirts as well did you?" I ask as I pull the hoodie to look down, only to feel I slap on my cheek. I move back and I have to press my lips together to keep my smile away. She looks at me angrily with raised eyebrows. "There was no t-shirt in there." I tell her, trying to keep my laugh inside. "Uh-huh." She says irritated. "There was nothing at all." "No shit." She says and rolls her eyes. "Why are you always so grumpy?" I ask, now I am the one irritated. She is always angry when I do something, no matter what. Well, maybe not when she was sick, then she was actually in a good mood. Which is weird, maybe she just didn't have the energy to be angry at me. "I am not grumpy." She says upset and I raise my eyebrow, making my point. "I'm not!" She still argues and just rolls my eyes as I lift her up in my arms and throw her on the couch. "Hey!" She shouts and I start walking away from her. "I am tired of you being angry all the... TIME!" I yell as she jumped on my back and I fell down with her on me. She is laughing and I lean my forehead on the floor. "Goddamn, you." I mutter. "Who is the grumpy one now?" She chuckles. "Get off me!" I say angry and she does as I say. When I stand up, I just look at her upset. "Why can't you be a lot funnier like you were when you were ill," I raise my eyebrows. "You were actually very, cute and amusing then." I tell her and sigh. Not like I don't love the way she is, she is amazing, but that night I remember so well. I loved her sense of humor. "You didn't have any clothes on you then." She says rolling her eyes and it makes me snort. "I have to be naked for you to be funny?" I ask. She opens her mouth to argue but then close it. Then she has a crooked smile on her face and she takes a step towards me. "I love you naked." She tells me, smiling as she grabs my shirt and I feel my knees weaken. Oh, god. I shake my head. "No, just no." I argue. As much as I want, I just can't give in to her that easy. She raises her eyebrow, questioning me as she put her hands on my waist. Kimmie is staring at me with her puppy eyes. I look down at the floor, avoiding her green gorgeous eyes. Then she cups my cheeks and forces me to look at her. "No." I tell while shaking my head. "You don't love me anymore?" She asks pouting. "How can you say something like that?" I burst out without thinking and she laughs, but still, I don't think before speaking. "I loved you since the first time I kissed you. When you told me it was over, you broke my heart," Kimmie's eyes softened. "I walked weeks aching because I love you so much!" I shout and Kimmie just stands there with widened eyes in shock, so am I. I open my mouth trying to say something, but I can't. I did it again! Just like when I told her I love her. My mouth just can't shut up. I lay my hand over my face, embarrassed. "Oh my god." I mutter. Then Kimmie wraps her arms around me. "You just keep on getting cuter and cuter for every day." She tells me softly as she rubs her cheek on my chest. I feel my cheeks turn red. "Umm..." "Oh no, I am not letting you go now." She says enjoying herself and I roll my eyes. I just stand here like an i***t with my arms down. I am so uncomfortable because of my own stupidity. Then she looks at me and I just turn my head to the side, avoiding her. "Look at me." She begs and as much as I try not to, I just can't. I met her green eyes, they look at me gently as she cups my cheeks. No one has ever made my heart so weak before, only Kimmie has done that. She is probably the only one that can do it. I have never cared about someone so much before, never really loved anyone. Maybe I have loved her all along, all of these years and I am just too blind to see it. Now I am not, she is standing right in front of me with the most gorgeous smile in the whole world and that smile is for me. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her long orange shinning hair so stunning. Kimmie's green eyes are to melt off when she looks at me, and my skin turns to goosebumps every time she touches me. She is perfect, just a f*****g masterpiece. Kimmie would have slapped me if I told her that. For me, she is flawless, well, except for her anger and her slapping, but still, everything about her is amazing. "Sam?" "Hmm?" I say while shaking my head. "Just wondered if you were still there." She chuckles and I smile at her. "Yeah, I am still here." I say as I put my hands on her ass to lift her up. She leans her arms over my shoulders and kisses me on the nose. "So, what do you want to do honey?" I ask as she kisses my forehead. God, I hope my legs don't fail under me. "I don't know. What do you want to do?" She asks me as she leans back to look at me. "Anything, anything you want." I tell her, I don't care what it is as long I do it with her. "I want you to kiss me." She says whispering and I snort lightly. "That I can do." I lean into her lips. I kiss her gently because she is the only one I don't want to hurt. Kimmie stayed over and she is dragging me through the mall. I hate shopping, just hate it, but as I said I would do anything for her. She looks at me as she sees through some clothes and I roll my eyes as I watch her. Kimmie sighs as she moves towards me, she looks annoyed. "I'm sorry, honey." I tell as she stands in front of me. Her eyes widen with surprise that I just said it. I think I told her that, because she is not really smiling today. Since she got up this morning she has been in a bad mood, I don't know what is wrong. Maybe I did something, god now I feel guilty. Kimmie looks around, and still no smile. I sigh and cup her cheeks. She looks at me confused, but still annoyed as well. "Smile for me please." I beg her. Kimmie's eyes softened and she gives me a crooked smile as she put her hands on my wrists. "Thank you, honey." I say gratefully and then kiss her forehead. Kimmie wraps her arms around me. "You know I love your smile." I tell and kiss her temple. "I'm sorry." Kimmie tells me. "It's okay," I say as I lean back from her. "So what do you want to do now?" I ask her, grinning brightly. "I'm hungry." She says and I raise my eyebrow. "Is that why you are not smiling?" I ask, she just rolls her eyes as she takes my hand and lead us into the hallway. "Now you are smiling." I tell teasing after she just finished eating and now we are just walking around in the mall. It is amusing watching angry parents that almost have to drag their children after them. Poor kids, following mom and dad, to just buy some little things. It was not like that with my mom, she always took her time with me. If there was something I wanted to look at, she would stop and watch it with me. She was patient and caring. It was not often she was angry, no matter who much of a troubled child I was, still am though. Dad was the one that got angry, but now that mom is gone he has given up. I don't blame him for it, or for even not being home enough. I like to be alone; well, I thought I liked it, I think as I kiss Kimmie's hand. She smiles to me. I would do anything to make her smile like that every day for me. After a while of looking around Kimmie wanted to go home, because her feet started to hurt. I told her to wait in front of the mall as I pick up the bike. As my eyes reach her I notice a guy standing a little too close to her and I feel the fury in me. I stop the bike in front of them and take off my helmet. "Holy Moly." The guy says and stares at me, and I roll my eyes. Kimmie looks annoyed by him and I step off the bike. He looks around our age. He has brown hair, but he is not as big as Aaron was. I raise my eyebrow at him as he looks me up and down, then he does it to Kimmie, and I clench my fists. No one looks at my Kimmie like that, but me. I step towards him on my way to punch him, but Kimmie stops me with her hands on my collarbones. I look down to meet her green eyes. "I don't want to go home with you if you have a bruise." She tells me, strict. Then I look at the guy, that looks at my girl. "I am not the one that is going to turn blue." I tell her with gritted teeth and my eyes not leaving the brown haired. I am going to kill him. "No, Sam." She says shaking her head. "Just a little." I say and bite my inner cheeks. "What are you two beautiful girls doing?" He asks and I feel the anger boiling. I take another step, while Kimmie is still struggling to keep me on the ground. "Calm down." She says. How in the hell can I calm down when he is staring at my girl, my girl! "You two look stunning..." "Okay, I have had enough of you!" I yell, passing Kimmie almost on my way to strangle him as she drags me by the leather jacket, keeping me away from him. "Sam, stop." She says angrily. The brown-eyed look at me a laughing. "Honey, let me go." I say, but she doesn't. "I am just going to hurt him a little bit." I tell and he snorts. "Sam, if you don't put that gorgeous ass of yours on the bike soon, I am going to walk home." She says irritated. I turn around and look at her offended. "Did you just say that?" I ask insulted. The guy behind me is dying of laughter. Now Kimmie's eyes darkened, as she looks at him, but her eyes go back to me. "Yes, I did, because you look amazing in those tight white pants and that leather jacket." She says and bit her lower lip. I look at her in shock just blinking my eyes. Then I open my mouth to say something, but I can't form words. Kimmie looks at me impatiently and then slap my face. "I'm here." I say, but I am still lost, staring at her. "Are you two done?" The guy asks. I turn around to him, and Kimmie holds my arm. "Can you please get the hell away from here, before I punch your face in," Kimmie buries her face in my arm, laughing. "This is my girl, and I am going to love her until I die, so just find your own damn girl!" I yell angry at him only to feel Kimmie wrap her arms around me. The brown haired just rolled his eyes and finally moved on. I look down at Kimmie who is smiling brightly. "Are you going to love me that long?" She asks. "Well, since I have almost loved you for fifteen years already without knowing it, I guess I can love you a little longer." I say and try to hide my huge smile. Kimmie raises her eyebrows. "A little longer?" She asks and I roll my eyes as I move over to my bike, only to feel a slap on my ass. I stiffen and clench my teeth. Did she really just do that? I turn around angry and she is holding her hand over her mouth hiding her laugh. "I am going to kill you." I say and take a deep breath. "No, no I am sorry." She says and takes some few steps back. I move towards her. "No, I am so... SORRY!" She yells as I pick her up over my shoulder, good thing she is tiny and I am strong. "Sam, put me down!" She shouts angry hitting my back. "Not a chance." I tell her, still offended by her smacking my ass. "Wasn't it enough when you bit me?" I ask her, and roll my eyes, as an old woman looked at us strangely. "I bite you again, if you don't let me down!" She says pissed off. "Holy! Sam I am not going to sleep with you again!" She shouts as I squeezed her ass. People are staring, but I don't care, this is fun. I move back to the bike and put her down on it. She crosses her arms and looks the other way. I kiss her on the top of her head and she rolls her eyes, angry. "So, you are not going to sleep with me, huh?" I ask and she just keeps on ignoring me. "Well, I guess you can sleep on the couch then." I say, shrugging as I reach for my helmet. Then she hit me in the side of my stomach and it makes me smile. She looks at me annoyed as I hand her the helmet. Kimmie takes it angry out of my hands and I sit down in front of her. She hit my back two times hard and I roll my eyes.
