CHAPTER 16
Raj sounded extremely distressed when he called Frank again the next morning. Frank found Raj pacing the front of the shop as usual while a small shiny-faced Indian guy who looked very distraught watched. Back in the office, Raj handed Frank a sheet of paper. Frank read what was written on it.
“It looks like a ransom letter,” he said to Raj.
“Of course, I know it is a ransom letter. Somebody has pinched my daughter. Everywhere in this country they pinch something. First, they pinch my jewelry and my money, they pinch my lucky charm, and now they pinch my daughter”, Raj was impossibly both angry and distressed at the same time.
“They are asking for two hundred thousand. They must be insane, nobody is worth that much”; Frank gave his honest impression.
