The future was unknown

Clara’s hair frizzes as she sits in front of the fire, the coffee she is drinking giving her shakes. She’d spent the rest of her day hauled up in her room pacing. Working out the best options, curious of Alexa’s allegations and Rohan’s true intent. On several occasions, she’d simply stared longingly at her home through the large window. Now was the time for Rohan to come clean. Rohan squeezes the crystal he keeps locked in his desk drawer so hard that the harsh edges have pierced his palm. Lost in a trance, does he tell Clara everything now. Or is it too soon. He throws the glass he’s holding at the wall, the pieces shattering. Sitting back down he holds his head in his hands. Slowly pulling away he looks at the crystal again. He was in a tight predicament. Clara doesn’t trust him one bit.
