Its been a day since he married Monique and now they are on their way to see Nancy and he can see that Monique is sulking well that’s her fault he seriously didn’t care about her right now all he wants to do is make sure that the innocent woman who got caught up in all this nonsense is safe.

Last night she came into his room wearing some sexy lingerie and he told her that their marriage was of convenience so he will only touch her when they are ready to have kids.

"Is that were you are keeping her? It looks like a hell hole seriously Monique this place doesn’t even look hygienic enough to keep a pregnant woman.” Actually it really looked like a dumpster surrounded by bodyguards.

"What do you care, you are now a married man or have you forgotten?”

"How can I forget with you reminding me every second.”

When they entered the building he started calling out for Nancy

"Nancy baby where are you?” and immediately he saw he ran and started kissing her face. Are you ok?”

"yes am ok, I just want you to kiss me so that I should know that you really came for me.” She said with tears running down her cheeks. Then Monique cleared her throat and Donald remembered where he was and he pulled away from her.

"Ahmmm……am sorry I can’t do that.” he told her. Nancy turned around and saw Monique.

"I see your psychotic wife to be is here. Wait a minute what are you doing with her and how did you find me?because this woman arranged for me to be kidnapped and believe me am going to press charges.”

"First and foremost am not his wife to be, am his wife.” She said all this and raised her hand to show her the ring on her finger.

"secondly he has been aware of you been here from the moment you were brought here and lastly you will just waste your time going to report to the police.” She said with a smug look on her face.

"Is what she is saying true? I mean I don’t care about the other staff but is it true that you have known all this time that I was here and you didn’t do any thing about it?” when she saw Donald look down she realized that the witch was saying the truth.

"Ohh wow I knew that you wanted me to get rid of our baby but to think that you would reach the extent of letting me be here for two weeks without doing anything about it is just disappointing .” tears ran down her cheeks, she wiped them and asked both of them, so your majesties when are you letting me go home or has this place become my new home?”

"Today….you are going home today.” Donald told her.

"Ok great are you crazy criminals going to provide me with transport or am supposed to walk?”

"There is a car outside that will take you home.” Donald said with so much regret in his eyes. He really wanted her to be safe and the only way he can do that is by staying away from her. As she turned to walk out he grasped her arm and she flinched.

"Don’t you ever touch me again and if you ever come near me and my child I swear to God Donald I will kill you with my bare hands.”

Monique laughed out loud and said "so much drama when you can’t even kill a fly.” Her guards joined her in laughing at Nancy. Nancy was so upset that she grabbed Donald’s gun and shot one of the guard’s foot.

Donald tried to get the gun from her but she turned and pointed at Monique but instead of her been afraid she moved closer held Nancy’s hand and pointed it at her forehead, "if you want to kill someone its better to shot them through the head they die quicker.”

Just then Nancy felt pain in her lower abdomen. She looked down and saw blood on her inner thigh.

"Hospital,!!!!" Donald shouted and carried her out.

He was chased out of the room by the doctor .he was getting worried he really wanted to know what was going on its been an hour without any news and he was going crazy. He wished they took her to the hospital were he works but this was the nearest.

Monique stood up and said; "I have gone to see if I can find out anything about her condition ok.” He nodded his head.

She found the doctor who was attending to Nancy and asked him; "how is she?”

"Well she has placenta previa hence the bleeding and her blood pressure is also high.”

"So she hasn’t miscarried?”

"Luckily no she hasn’t .”

"Ok I have a very good deal for you, I want you to go and tell my husband that she has lost the pregnancy and she doesn’t want to see him because he is the one who caused her to miscarry.”

The doctor’s eyes widened in shock but Monique rushed and said, "if you do this for me I will make sure I donate a large sum of money to the hospital allocated specifically for your ward and all your children’s education will be paid for until they go to the university.”

"Ok I will do it.”

Monique smiled at him and continued her way to see Nancy.

Nancy saw Monique and sat up; "have you come to make sure that I lose my baby?”

"No I came to make sure that you stay away from my husband because it looks like it still hasn’t sunk into that thick skull of yours that he is married and he has told you several times to get rid of that pregnancy.”

I will stay away from him,thats not a problem, I will stay away from him but just let him know that am going to raise his child into a man better than him.”

Donald couldn’t believe that Nancy has lost the pregnancy and now he is feeling guilt for telling her to get rid of their child, he could just imagine how she was feeling and he knew very well that she has no one to comfort.

And she didn’t want to see him? Well who can blame her with all the pain he has caused her? she probably hates him because as it is right now he hates himself for not been man enough and protecting his child.He has to make things right, he can't go on living a life were everything is been decided for him.

Its time he takes a stand as a man, his father can’t keep on controlling his life. So first line of business talk to his father then he will come back and talk to his woman hoping she will forgive him.

He found his father outside sitted by the pool side.

"Dad we need to talk.”

Don Mac sighed and said, "it looks like you have even forgotten how to greet your father.”

"Father? When have you ever been a father, fathers don’t teach their children how to kill people or how to cause pain to get information, fathers don’t put their happiness before their children’s happiness”.

"When have I ever put my happiness first?”

Everyday dad, everytime you take a life, everytime you hurt someone and when you decided to find me a wife before I could walk.”

"Ahhh…now the issue comes out, you have never complained about my choice of wife for you until recently, besides you know that your marriage to Monique is good for business.”

"Its always been about business, I wonder what mum would think of the man you have become.”

His fathers eyes flashed with anger as he said, "don’t you ever mention your mother again in any conversation with me do you understand?”

Donald ignored him and asked,"are you aware that I just lost my child?”

"So did you also lose your fertility? You will have more children.” His father responded coldly and his eyes darkened, his jaw clenched which was an indication that he was getting upset but Donald didn’t care he was angry and his father is to blame.

"I don’t want other children, I wanted this child because I was having it with the woman I love.” Immediately he finished saying that he was shocked, he felt lightheaded, yes he loved her, from now on wards he is going to shower her with so much love, she was his woman, she belonged to him and he takes care of everything that belongs to him.

"I am going to ask Monique for a divorce.”

"You will do no such thing! Do you know the consequences of what you want to do? You are going to make us the number one enemy of the south district. You want to destroy everything I have built because of a woman?”

" I don't care dad, am going to end it dad am tired of doing everything according to your will.”

"If you walk out of this house with that decision, then forget about me I won’t be your father anymore, find yourself a new family.”

"Then let your will be done dad am no longer your son.”

His father was shocked he opened his mouth to say something and closed it again, the he held his chest like he was in pain and he fainted.
