*Faye* The lamps cast a dim light along the garden path, but darkness still reigns. I tread slowly, cautiously, scanning the shadows for a familiar silhouette. I ponder why Hunter has chosen this setting instead of the parlor to discuss matters with me. He's always welcome in our home, well aware of that fact. Yet, I must confess that the clandestine meeting entices me, the allure of indulging in what shouldn't be done. And why meet so late at night?
