"SHUT UP"

Saying this Noah stood at my face and looked darkly in my eyes. His jaw line looked oddly differently. May be because of his anger control.

Noah crashed his lips on mine and clutched both my wrist tightly beside either side of my face and started moving his lips dominantly. When I didn't let him enter in my mouth, he growled sending shivers down my spine.

"Why?"

He gritted out between the kiss. My hand still locked by him.

"I wanted to dance... and you were busy"

I whined breaking the kiss and looked up at the ceiling to avoid eye contact. I was ashamed.

"No... You were jealous enough to not ask."

Noah said. Yes I was jealous but my action wasn't because of it.

"I am not!"

Noah loosen his grip on my wrist but caged me between his body and the wall behind me. His piercing eyes looking deep in my eyes. I looked at his for few second then stood on my tippy toes and initiate the kiss.

"You guys done playing tongue hockey?"

One of Noah's friend spoke from behind. I was in a haze that I couldn't recognise who was talking.

Noah took a step back making me shiver at the sudden chilly atmosphere and grabbed an apple from the counter and threw at the guy.

"Ooo... Nice... An apple a day keep everyone away... If threw properly"

Suven humoured. I visibly gagged at his humour and rubbed the side of my arms to keep myself warm.

"f**k yo self"

Noah said to Suven and pulled me out of the kitchen. Suven chuckled and went to the counter. That was the last thing I saw before stepping out of the kitchen.

"Lets dance"

I nodded when Noah said for dance. His arm on my shoulder.

He took me to the middle of the hall and gestured something to his friend. The guy immediately changed the disco lights and also the music to something soft. I smiled when a soft rhythm started humming in the air.

I put my both hands around Noah's neck and he grabbed me by the waist. We started swaying our hips in sync to the music. Noah smiled down at me while dancing and then turned me so my back was touching to his chest.

"You are looking beautiful today"

Noah whispered in my ear and I blushed at his compliment. Craning my neck, I looked in his eyes for a few seconds then kissed his chin.

"I feel beautiful when I am with you."

I said and turned to rest my head on his chest. Closing my eyes I listen to his heart beat.

Dancing on a few more songs Noah and I left the party. Noah wanted to go out to eat, so he took me to an continental resturant. The waiter took us to a table and then left when we settled down.

"What you wanna eat?"

"Anything you like!"

I answered when Noah asked me. He nodded and scratched his jaw while looking at the menu.

I decided to check my mobile while he's deciding. First I went to check my social media where I found today's party pictures. Liking them I saw my picture. Obviously posted by my man. Commenting the kissing emoji, I closed the app.

Tapping on my mail app, I saw a new email. My eyes immediately drew together. Before I could open it, Noah closed the menu with a thud making me jump. He laughed at my scared look and then called for the waiter.

Noah ordered the food and pulled his phone out of the pocket. The first thing he did is click my pic and kissed my knuckles. My heart melt at that. And all the small things he like this does to me.

"Come here"

He patted on his side. When I sit there, he put his hand on my shoulder and pecked my temple.

Noah click on the camera and click our picture. He loves taking pictures with me. I burst into laughter when he started making funny faces on the camera.

The food arrived at the middle of our photo session and we had to stop taking selfies. Noah was so hungry that he immediately dug in the food and ate it.

In the middle of eating I went on my phone and opened that e-mail. I was almost done with my food that I started reading it. The first thing I read 'we are sorry to inform you that' make my cheeks burn and my eyes moistened.

"Excuse me."

I told Noah while pocketing my phone and went to the washroom immediately. I couldn't make eye contact with him.

In the washroom, I re-read the sender's name. The company's name I was going to interview for and read all the content in it. They cancelled my interview because they do not want me anymore.

I wanted to scream but couldn't do so. My only hope shattered with that email. It felt like suddenly there's no job for me in this city.

I didn't wanted to cry for this small reason but still those traitor tears rolled down my eyes. I furiously wiped them from the back of my hand but they continued running down and lastly I couldn't put enough will to stop my tears.

When I felt like I am ready to face Noah, I washed my face and removed the makeup entirely. I was continuously praying in my head that Noah wont get suspicious.

Putting on a brave smile, I walked out of the washroom and when my eyes met Noah's I immediately felt relieved pass through my body. He scrutinized his eyes as if he felt something is wrong and ran to me putting his hand on the small of my back.

"Heyy.. you okay sweetheart?"

He asked so softly that my heart melt in a puddle and I looked at him and nodded.

"Yeah babe?? Why?"

I acted like nothing is wrong which made him visibly relax. I kissed his cheeks.

But my inner thingy made me feel like 'I am not a perfect girlfriend anymore... And its right.. what even I am doing??? I am lying to him. To the most important person in my life for what??? A job! But I can't tell him either because he will force me to join his company. I can't do that.

"Lets leave?"

Noah asked pulling me out of my thoughts and grabbed my hand and we walked out to his car.
