Chapter 14

(Emma's Room) 

"Mr & Mrs Nolan" the nurse entered the room "hi I've got great news we have tested the Mayors blood and she is a match with Emma so we can go ahead with the transfusion" "oh god thank you thank you so she will be ok?" Mary asked "we will have to monitor her for a few days after the transfusion and she will have to be on bed rest for at least a month her body still needs a lot of time to heal the broken bones won't heal properly unless she takes the proper medication and lets her bones rest and no stress either she will need to keep her stress level low her heart is weakened so you must make sure she is stress free she will have to eat healthy too" "oh yes yes of course no problem we will look after our baby we will make sure she has plenty of rest and no stress the healthy eating will be a challenge but we will make sure she does" "ok good and we will send over a nurse to check up on her" "oh great she will be so looked after thank you nurse" "no problem now I will go get everything set up for the transfusion" with that she left "Oh David this is wonderful I must go tell Regina" "ok hunny il stay and wait for the nurse to come back" "I won't be long promise" as she was on her way out another nurse passed her into the room "oh hello again" "oh hello I'm just here to get everything ready for the doctor to start the blood transfusion with ms Nolan" "oh yes go ahead thank you so much" Mary said "il just check her chart and see ....oh my god" "what what is it?" "Oh no nothing I just i mean this is your daughter?" "Yes that's my daughter Emma why?" "Oh she is very pretty I'm sorry I just think I've met her before" "oh thank you em maybe where do you think you know her from?" "Oh I i can't think at the moment maybe she just looks familiar" she didn't want to say the girl she thought was Karen is the same woman laying in the bed in front of her she couldn't believe this it was too perfect now she could look after her and maybe get in good with her parents and win her over and just keep that Mayor b***h away from her "oh ok well they said they were going to have someone look after her and come check on her at the house will that be you?" Oh she could so get this to go her way "oh yes that will be me everything here looks good il just go let the doctor know mrs Nolan" she smiled "oh thank you and it's Mary" hmmm first name basis nice making her way to the nurses station she walked to the other nurse "hey do you know who will be doing house calls for ms Nolan when she leaves?" "Oh emmm let me just check it's Oh it's you" yes she smiled "oh ok thank you just wanted to check and make sure to let her parents know who to expect" "oh that's sweet of you lily I'm sure they will be pleased that it's you"

(Reginas Room) 

"Hey how are you feeling?" "Oh hey good just really tired they said il be a bit weak for a little while but otherwise I'm good how's Emma?" "Oh she's gonna be fine Gina thanks to you you really are just the best I'm going to take great care of you,when did they say you can go home?" "Oh em tomorrow afternoon and thank you Mary I really won't be a burden I promise I'm fine they just need to make sure I don't try anything stupid again but you know I won't don't you?" "Oh of course Gina I know you won't it's just they have to be sure it's just protocol" "I know I know it's just I don't like to be in the way you have enough on your plate with Emma" fiddling with her fingers looking down Mary made her way over to her best friend and held her hands "Regina honey you know I would do anything for you you are like a sister to me you could never be a burden or in the way I love you and nothing will ever change that ok" with tears in her eyes Regina hugged her "thank you so much you know I love you too and you are like a sister to me too" "I know that you ok now?" "Yes I'm just going to get some rest now" feeling weak she fell straight to sleep.

(The Next Day)

"Where am i?" Emma choked out her throat felt raw "Emma?honey thank god you're awake oh sweety I'm so happy David David come here quick" "what ow stop stop shouting please" Emma cried her head and body was so sore "oh I'm sorry sweety let me get the doctor for you" "Oh Emma thank god you are ok" David came in hugging his daughter tight "ow ow get off" Emma says pushing David away with her good arm "oh sorry sorry I forgot about your arm it's just so good to see that you are awake we were so worried about you" he smiled with tears in his eyes "ok now can you tell me who you people are and what the hell happened to me and why am I in so much pain" Emma said in an angry tone "Emma honey were your parents you were in an accident Regina hit you with her car by accident " Mary said looking at her poor daughter "what?Regina who's Regina?" Emma said completely confused "Regina is my best friend you met her at your welcome home party" "my what where did I go? Oh god my head" "Ms Nolan glad to see you are awake how are you feeling?" The Doctor said coming into the room " "sore and confused and what the hell is that pain f**k" "oh here let me give you something for that" "ok thank you now who are you? And why am I here? And why don't I remember my own parents?"..............
