My action shocked both Rush and I. It was an unplanned impulsive act. It was a spur of the moment decision.
Though my actions were unexpected, I still did not let go of Rush. He smelled of lavender and I inhaled his scent greedily. This was the second time Rush and I had hugged today but this was the first time I initiated it.
The first time we hugged was this morning when I had gone to the forest to pick flowers for the dinner hall and now tonight. Because of the suddenness of my action, Rush was too shocked to do anything so he left his hand hanging and I believed he was thinking about what to do.
