REUNION
Scarlett's POV
The day Rush Rivera returned to the Hidden Moon Pack was a day to remember.
The whole pack was abuzz with excitement at the coming of Rush Rivera. But I received it with mixed feelings. I was afraid of what will happen when he comes back, how much he has changed and if he would still want to talk to me.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I did not notice when the soap I was using to wash the plates fell from my hand. It was a slap from the kitchen chief that brought me out of my reverie.
"You useless thing!" She shouted. "You don't ever learn your lesson do you? Or is it because the Alpha pardoned you that has made you bold enough to repeat your silly mistakes?" She asked angrily.
"I'm very sorry ma." I apologized.
