At night, I cannot sleep, you know why of course Lucas, I don’t know why he is back his face coming to my mind, I cannot forget how he was starting like he wants something from me. He’s changed become more grow, thin, made his body like a model. Today I feel my all feelings for him back again it was buried inside my chest, but it feels kind of never gone these feelings, they're just getting ignored all this time. Somehow, I fall asleep in the morning.

I wake up from the call, Anna calling me I pick up “hey good morning what you do need in the morning,” I said "we're going to have breakfast Izzy also coming, so I don’t want any drama ok??” she said“ok I will come, send me the address,” I said and cut the call. I changed and get ready, I am wearing a short black dress under a white t-shirt, sheer stocking, and black boots with a white sling bag. I get my car keys today I am driving Mercedes-Benz, which my dad gifted me last year on my birthday. Anna sends me the address, I arrived early, but I see Izzy was already there, “go to good morning, why did Anna call us early morning?” I said "don't know she said she wants to tell something,” Said “ok so how's the party tomorrow did you enjoy it?” I said "yes it was amazing, I saw Lucas come are you ok now??” she said "yes I am fine don’t worry it’s not like I am affected by his presence,” I said she smiles at me and said "it's a good thing,” only then Anna comes to us and says "morning, ladies,” she is such a drama queen, she is different from us means Me and Izzy. She is always cheerful in any circumstance, her parents died when she was a child but when you look at her, you can’t see she grew up without parents. We hug each other and sit, I ordered an espresso with bacon and boiled egg, Anna ordered a café latte with a veg sandwich and Izzy ordered green tea with oatmeal. We are eating suddenly Anna said“ I am dating Alex,” we both choked on our food we both, say, the same time“ since when??” she says“ almost 1 year I didn’t tell because I thought Veronica will hurt if I tell, so I hide till my relationship with him become real,” I said“ you both don’t have to stop your life because of me it doesn't matter now Lucas went from a life long ago, you get that now I am engaged to Dean and happy,” Izzy said“ do you happy because yesterday I saw what’s in your eyes we are your friends you don’t have to hide your feeling from us,” I get angry said “ if I am your friend why did she hide her relationship from us,” and I get up to take my bag and my car keys leave. I go to my office my Secretary Caroline is there waiting for me with a flower bouquet said "Mam this for you,” I said "thank you,” I take the bouquet and go to my cabin, I kept flower on my desk and start my work. I become CEO, so my responsibility increases 2 times more than when I was Manger. I see we have so many projects in our hands some of them are new, our business is involved in lots of lines like building construction, clothes, textile, electronics, extra. I take 10mon break my office is white on color large window backside sun rays come from these and nice view you can see, my cabin is top of the building because If anything happens I can fly by our chopper which was bought my grandfather now he is retired and has the farmland where he grows organic vegetables and fruits, he likes greenery, my grandmother died early because she had cancer she had been a lot through she always said to me, I will get my prince who will love you liked and do for you anything like your grandfather do, my grandfather met my grandmother when she works at a café in her works 20s, and my grandfather worked in front of that café. My family background was not good, but my grandfather’s word is hard, so he can give his family what he can’t have so here I am this empire was made by my grandfather and this building was also made by him this was his cabin.

I got back to work, I have a meeting at noon in the conference room with some new investors and clients, I am preparing for this because it’s my first meeting as CEO I don’t want any mistakes, I call my secretary by intercom “Caroline come inside with a notepad,” she comes and knocks I said "come in,” she entered and said, “yes mam, do you need anything?” I said “call all the heads of departments investors are coming I have to check all thing before meeting and make me some coffee,” she said “ok mam,” then she went to make my coffee and I close my eyes for a sec, Caroline comes with coffee and keeps at my desk and call the heads I said “when they come you should take note of whatever they tell o,”She said, “ok mam I will take.” All heads of the department come I asked all the questions what should I know all the information this meeting goes for 1 hour it’s almost 11:30 when the meeting ended, they all go back to their cabins Caroline said “mam I will send these notes on your email,” I said “ok, and go get eat your lunch we have a meeting at noon,” she said “ok mam,” she goes to her cubicle outside my cabin where I can what she is doing. I am preparing for this meeting my dad also coming he is an investor now; he holds 50% share in our company.

At noon, all investors arrived waiting for me so I can represent my presentation to what I am going to do to grow the company, how I will manage all responsibilities. I have to show, so I fat up from my seat and take a deep breath and adjust my dress call, Caroline, she comes with me to the conference room first I saw my father he smiles at me I felt ok seeing him, I gained my confidence and Caroline takes her seat I am standing in front of all investors I said “ good afternoon ladies and gentlemen shall I start my presentation,” they nodded, I start my presentation telling all the profits and losses and how I will make a profit in other 1 year, and make this company no.1 in the USA, I ended my presentation and see all the faces and I can see how all they are happy, my dad comes to me and hugged me said “ I am proud of you,” he kisses my forehead. All the investors clapped and said “good work we will like to work with you,” I smiled at them then they all went my father stayed because he wants to be sure I am doing fine. My dad and I go to eat lunch in our favorite restaurant I eat white sauce pasta with garlic bread and my dad eats Chinese he likes Chinese food but my mom doesn’t want him to eat Chinese because whenever he eats Chinese food, he gets acidity but he doesn’t listen. After eating lunch, I go to the office and my father went for some meeting.

On the way to my office Izzy call me “ hey can you come over to Anna’s house she is crying so much, please come?” she said “ ok I am on the way,” I take turn to Anna's house, I reached her house ring a bell but I see the door is open, I enter to see all light is gone blackout I shout “ Izzy Anna where are you guys you know that I afraid of darkness, don’t prank me,” only then all lights on they yelled “ surprise,” I get almost heart attack but they both are laughing I run towards them but they run and I am trying to catch them, in the end, we all get exhausted and sit on the couch, laughing how still plying like a child then I asked “Izzy why do you tell me she is crying, she is alright her face is glowing like she is pregnant,” Izzy said “we want to spend time with after what happened yesterday, and Anna's relationship I thought we need each other and in the party, you were busy so we can have some fun which should do on birthdays so we are celebrating your promotion plus engaged, and of course, Anna's relationship, so first cut the cake both of you I'll go get the cake you both sits here ok,” she goes to the kitchen Anna sitting beside me awkwardly I said, “what happens to you?” “Nothing just I am sorry I shouldn't hide with you please forgive me,” she said with puppy eyes I hug her and said, “hey don’t worry about it I am happy if you were happy and I am not mad at you I’m just hurt that you think I will hurt from your relationship so from now no more secrets, ok?” she smiles and hugs me tightly and said, “no more secrets,” only then Izzy comes with cake. we cut the cake and, on some music, then we dance after we get tired, Anna asked: “do you guys want to see some movie?” Izzy said “yes we should watch notebook,” excitement I said “you always watch this,” she said “so what I like that movie,” chuckles and then watch notebook cheesy romantic movie I said, “someone wants pizza?” They both yell yes, I order pizza, time they both act like a child and I am their mom. After some time, pizza boy comes and rings a bell I opened the order-pay for pizza, I keep pizza at the table and go to the kitchen for some soft drink and ketchup I pick thumbs-up and ketchup go to the living room they already eating, I rolled my eyes at them then they stop I take a slice of pizza to pour some ketchup on a slice then eat and watch a movie. The movie ended around 7 o’clock Izzy staying at Anna house I said “I have to the go to the office I need to pick some files then I will go to my house see you guys later,” they, both hugs me then I leave for the office, I noticed from yesterday Dean had not called me today, don't know what happens but I will call him later.

When reached the office I see Dean is waiting for me, he smiled at me and comes to me said, “I am sorry, today I have lots of meeting with clients I forget to call you do you eat your dinner?” I said “ yes eat my dinner, and it’s ok I was also busy with my meetings and Anna's relationship with Alex,” he raised his eyebrows and said “ Alex who I meet yesterday,” I said, “yes that Alex,” he said “ today my meeting was with him, he is vice president of Peirce industry,” I said “ I did not know that let’s forget about this, you tell me why are you here it’s 8 o’clock,” he said, “I want to meet you, and you forget we eat dinner together always so we can spend time with each other,” I said “ I did not forget it’s just Izzy called me to Anna's house so that we can have our some little party,” he said “ ok did you also eat dessert?” I said “no way are asking?” he said “ because I brought some ice cream your favorite Belgian chocolate,” I kiss him on the cheek “so what are you waiting for I needed this after having so hectic day, let’s get inside,” we go to my cabin I see Caroline is gone almost all the employees gone we eat ice cream and talk about our day what happens he told me about his meeting with Alex, Pierce industry is top on the business world I heard the name but I never think its Lucas company, Dean told some partnership going between his and Lucas company. I told him about my meeting with investors, after some the time he dropped me at my house I said good night he kisses me on the lips then he leaves I take the elevator my apartment is top of the building I sacred from a height that’s why I choose this so I can fight from my fear and it also gives a nice view of New York City it is a penthouse, I bought this 3 years ago and renovated it by myself, it has white and black combinations with wooden flooring, I also, make my favorite spot where I can read my books near the balcony, my kitchen is large and white marble on the slip and all electronic items are attached to the wall, elevator open I take my keys and open my penthouse door, take a look at my apartment then go to the kitchen take water from the refrigerator and drink then goes to my room and take a shower change into comfy pajama and a t-shirt then watches some Netflix and eats leftover pasta. I like Netflix they have lots of options to watch I like supernatural, action, comedy, and spies' series, I am watching big bang theory right now. After sometimes I am getting sleepy then I go to my room and lay down on the bed, listening to some music, whenever I close my eyes Lucas’s face comes into my mind I tried to sleep then I see the flower on my table suddenly I remember the bouquet which Caroline gave I forget to ask her who send me these, I think Dean send these but I never told him about my favorite flower I think I am overthinking now, I get up and make some coffee, I walk to the balcony and read the novel after some time I am getting sleepy then I go to bed and fall asleep.

The next morning, I wake up someone rings the bell first I thought it must be Maria but she has a key and then I go to open the door what I see is shocking to me because I don’t expect that.
