After that day, we were always together. He also introduced me to his family, just like I did with mine.
Both our families support our love for each other.
We are both first-year college students; I am an education student, while he is an engineering student. We are both achievers in the courses we have chosen.
Now we are here in the school cafeteria, eating together with my best friend Marie Gomez.
"How's your day, love?" Rain asked me while he was unpacking the food he bought.
"There are many things to do, love. It's tiring because of the consecutive activities we have," I replied as I started eating.
"Don't worry, after I finish my projects, I'll help you," he said and began eating as well.
" You guys are hurting my eyes ,I wish I have someone who ask "How's your day love?" she said while mimicking Rain's voice
"Why don't you just answer one of your suitors," I said .
It's true that Marie is really beautiful, and because of that, many are attracted to her.
I don't know why she didn't respond to any of them .
"I just really don't want to," she replied while shrugging.
"Maybe you already like someone, Marie, but you just haven't told us," Rain said.
"So, do you have a crush, Marie?" I added.
"Yes, I do have a crush, but can you all stop bothering me and focus on your own relationship,hmp?" she replied, then started eating.
Rain and I just laughed and continued with our meal.
After a while, we parted ways as our break time was about to end.
"I'll pick you up later, love, okay?" Rain said before saying goodbye.
"You're so lucky to have him, Glai (short for Glaiza)," Marie said.
"Definitely," was all I could reply to her as we headed to our building.

After class, I waited outside our room with Marie since she was also waiting for her ride.
"So, who's the guy you like, Rie (short for Marie)?" I asked her.
"It's a secret, not allowed to say," she replied.
"Come on, just tell me, please," I persisted.
"It's Rain," she finally answered, and that immediately silenced me.
"What?" was all I could say.
"Yep, it's Rain. He's already here," she said, pointing behind me.
When I turned around, there was Rain approaching us.
"Hi love, are you ready to go?" he said to me, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"Hello love, yes," I replied.
I looked at Marie.
"I thought it was something else hehe, goodbye Rie, we'll go ahead," I bid her farewell and waved my hand as we left.
