Everyone makes a promises Everyone makes sacrifices But not all promises are worth fulfilling. Not all sacrifices is worth it. Have you ever tried making a promise and being promised? Have you ever experienced sacrificing and making decisions because we thought those were the only remaining choices? Then I am Glaiza Mendez 23 years of age and this is my story . . It all began on April 1, 2019. We were at the park, enjoying the street foods we bought, having a great time and laughing. "Rain, I think you should stop courting me," I said, looking into his eyes. "Huh?" was all he could utter, taken aback by what I said. "I said, you should stop courting me," I repeated my words. "Why? Did I do something you didn't like?" He asked, looking at me with a pleading gaze. "No, you haven't done anything I didn't like, Rain," I replied. "If that's the case, then why? Why are you asking me to stop?" he inquired again. "Because I'm saying 'yes' to you, Rain," I answered with a big smile. "You're saying 'yes' to me? Really?" he repeated, seemingly unable to contain his excitement. I nodded in response. "Yesssss!" he exclaimed, overflowing with joy.
